How does the stuff with making the Normandy more involved with the war work? Is it just extra e-mails or did they add something to the world map?

It was a pretty good expansion but I remember parts of it being hard. I did it post-game though, not sure if maybe scales to your level.
The combat can get quite fun when you start getting more tools to use too.

I could write a "how not to look after your puppy" guidebook based on the stuff this girl comes out with.

I can't really blame you, I suppose! I'm counting the days until I cleared my current set of games and can finally get to my much, much awaited FE marathon. I'm planning on playing every (fan)-translated entry that I can get my hands on, so it'll be a pretty huge undertaking and I need to finish that before Three Houses comes out!

See, I do my fair share of ridiculous grinds for the many s I have, like all the stupid shit I do in the Monster Hunter games that would make a lot of people on here run for the hills. I have to draw the line on Fire Emblem supports, though.

PS: Are you sure your plan isn't just some elaborate excuse to replay Fire Emblem AGAIN?

Are you actually going to get all supports in Fire Emblem? If so, you're crazy. Whenever I do my FE marathon I'll drop a on every game as long as I did special hard modes, optional chapters etc. without casualties.

Getting every single support in Fire Emblem Warriors only solidified that opinion. That was an outrageous grind and yet it was still more reasonable than doing it in any main title. That said, if you go through with it let me know how long it all took.

So probably just a few tracks. They rarely give the full soundtracks out.

Wow I just looked it up and that's a lot of stuff added to it. Is some of it cut content that they managed to restore? I would use this purely for the multiplayer armours tbh.
They better be praying to their EA overlords they don't get taken out back first.

It's a gorgeous looking game, there's a lot to do once the world opens up too. Do you have the DLC expansion that was released for it or are you waiting to pick it up later if you like the game enough?

It's already running away from her whenever it sees her. Not sure what she expected when she barely spends any time with it. It probably already associates here as home and sees her as someone taking it away from it.

Getting an actual CD with the soundtrack on it is pretty good, usually they just give you it digitally now which I'm not a fan of. I used to like collecting copies of soundtracks.

What kinds of mods are you using? Some of the ones people made for Dragon Age were pretty good.
What happened to EA shelving the series, have they decided to give it another chance?

I'M HERE NOW btw how are you finding Horizon?

I've been stressed all this week. My brother's girlfriend decided to get a puppy despite the fact she has zero time for one and wanted to keep leaving it with me to look after. Even though they never asked, just kept rolling up with it. I'm pretty annoyed tbh, it's not fair on me or the puppy. She dropped by to spend a grand total of 30 minutes with it today before leaving again.

What passive skills are you using? My absolute favorite passive skill is Patience (Hunter 4), which can greatly increase the damage you do between attacks from the enemy/enemies if all four of your party members have it (and if it activates; there's a 25% chance for each character, so you'll almost always have one of them be able to act again every turn). I've also found that Second Wind (Dancer 3) and Vim and Vigor (Scholar 4) are great for passive healing, which can definitely reduce the need to heal up. Finally, Saving Grace (Cleric 4) is a good way to heal above your maximum HP, though it won't stack if you're already above your max (even by 1 HP).

Additionally, I like to use the Cleric Divine Skill, especially on a character that has a multi-hit ability (like Arrowstorm from a Hunter, any of the Scholar's higher spells, or a boosted Merchant's Hired Help). The Apothecary Divine Skill is also pretty great if you use Energizing Pomegranates to get more BP for more damage/hits from everyone in the party (or to charge Divine Skills). The Warrior's Divine Skill is a beast, especially if you have Surpassing Power (Warrior 4) passive skill equipped and have the enemy broken already. Finally, especially for mage enemies (like these), you can use the Dancer's Divine Skill on a Cleric and cast (ideally a fully boosted) Reflective Veil on everyone so that the spells just bounce back. If a spell hits all 4 characters, and they all have Reflective Veil, it'll hit the enemy 4 times, which is awesome if it's a multi-hit spell (for example, a 2-hit spell will hit the enemy 8 times if Reflective Veil is boosted enough).

Leghold Trap (Hunter ability) is also nice for getting the most chances to break in before the enemy/enemies attack. I've also poisoned and blinded my fair share of bosses with some nice outcomes.

Hopefully those tips help! The skills in particular (especially Patience) really helped me in the majority of my boss battles.

Oh yeah, I remember those - Phaeon had trouble with them, too. I think I was overpowered by that point (at least my main three of H'aanit/Ophilia/Cyrus), so it wasn't too bad for me, but I can't remember what level I was at.

What did the Collectors Edition you have come with?

I see that Mass Effect replay. When will they give us a HD collection.

I hadn't really been playing much until recently. I had nothing to update

Sounds like a good excuse to pretend that those Symphonia HD remasters don't exist. Is there any real benefit they have over the original GCN and Wii titles?

I've still been doing all NEW quests, although it's very annoying to pick those out since the repeating ones use the same damn icon. I'm trying to get Steal Attack now and kinda figured out how the gathering points give specific loot depending on a spot, so maaybe it won't be too bad anymore. If I'm going to play Refrain after I'm not going to do any of that again though.

Here are the trophies I have left:
- Defeat Bacturian Man (will get this very soon)
- Get to the Hot Springs (post-game)
- Get all Recipes (which will happen with the above)
- Get many items (same)
- Defeat many monsters (same)
- Get every Glacite (same)
- Get lots of Gald (probably same)
- Max out the shop (goes with the Gald)
- Get lots of Tales Coins (mini-games...)
- View all Mystic Artes (16 more from bosses, 6 from characters)
- Use every Soul Break (haven't really looked to see how I'm doing here)
- Get someone to Lv200 (this could take some time)
- Get all character titles to Lv2 (this one's gonna SUUUUUUCK)
- Platinum

If it wasn't for the title one, it wouldn't be so bad, but there are a LOT of titles and it's not as easy to level them up as it is in, say, Graces. They're very specific, as you know.

Graces definitely has the overall craziest Tales of Platinum I've done so far. The Symphonia ones seemed pretty ridiculous too, but who knows when I'll get to those.

Yeah, there might still be more to find out about Rinna for me but for now she's easily 3rd place. I'm not actually sure who you mean, which is a good thing because I thought I knew the final party members already. It'll be a surprise, then. Good thing you didn't drop the name right there and then.

Are you doing the side quests at all? They are mostly such basic and unrewarding fetch quests that I think I'd have a much better pace if I just turned off my inner completionist. Some later items also have absurdly low drop rates if the few comments I've seen online are any indication. Even trying to get some items for quests now makes Tales of seem very generous in comparison.

Lucky for you! That doesn't seem to work for me. It's been about 1.5 years since I last played a Tales of game with Berseria and I still have to compare them even though I know it's not fair to do that.

Oh boy, the Graces Platinum. Good luck with that! The Eleth Mixer is incredibly tedious, so at least you got that out of the way.

If my theme wasn't a dead giveaway already, yes I like Kirika the most. I have a weak spot for elves and her design and awkward/noble demeanor are just way too cute. Sonia is great too, though!
