Because both Twisted Wonderland and Ensemble Stars!! Music (two games that I lovingly call mobile trash) are having Halloween events well into November, and since I got occupied dealing with Discord support and watching RPG Limit Break, I'm extending my Halloween Cookie marathon to November 23.

So I'm going to try and beat more spooky games provided both Twisted Wonderland and EnStars don't completely occupy my time. D:

Back in 2019 I worked on localization QA for Dragon Quest XI S on the Switch and SaGa SCARLET GRACE: AMBITIONS (Steam, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android) at Square Enix. While DQXI S can be found on all modern systems both digitally and physically (though the only version with my name in the credits is the Switch version), the same could not be said for the western release of SaGa SCARLET GRACE: AMBITIONS.

(No, I'm not shouting, that's how SaGa SCARLET GRACE's title is supposed to be formatted.)

You're going to have fun with Vesperia. I wish I could erase my memory of it and play it all over again. The only Tales game that I can recall that gave me that weird muscle memory thing was Tales of Legendia, with Senel's "Oohmph ha! Eat this!" with every combo over and over. But I like how you play most of the Tales games on PC, I tend to still buy them on console probably cause I have always played them this way, but I've seen many cool quality of life mods on PC that make me jealous.

I did notice a few localization issues during my play through. I played through the game using Japanese voices so I never heard Ray Chase trying to read a poorly written script thankfully lol. Sometimes when I play with Japanese voices my head tends to fill in the bad grammar. If you ever work for Bamco you can be the change we need for the series.

Congrats on the for Disney Magical World 2, that Switch port really came out of nowhere.

You're so close to beating Arise too, has it lived up to your expectations, where does it rank among the other Tales of games for you? Personally I liked it a lot, though the enemies can be damage sponges at times, that final dungeon can get pretty long, I did enjoy the relationships between everyone, and this is probably the darkest Tales game we've ever gotten. I started it on the PS4 and half way through I was able to get a PS5... but save transfer still isn't implemented so I had to continue on the PS5 playing the PS4 version with its limited fps... so once they update it to allow you to transfer data I might go back and do a new game+.

"Vancian style magic?" It is judging from this context that they actually do allow you to use the original NES magic style in the remaster. That's good to know.
