Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Hi! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you got a little crazy! I actually never got around to finishing Octopath Traveler, which bums me out quite a bit. I had to take a break for a while due to being busy. Then when I went back to it I was stuck on a boss fight I just couldn't seem to get past. I can't remember which one it was at the moment, but it was someone's Chapter 4. I just feel like I don't have time to spend hours trying to level up so I can beat it πŸ˜”. It's disappointing because I really loved what I played up until that point, but with such a huge backlog it was hard to spend so much time on something that was starting to frustrate me.

How did you like the rest of KH3? Do you think you'll go back and play any of the others now?

Backlog Beaten: June 15, 2017
Legendary Weapon: 5 or fewer unfinished games
Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
You're certainly putting me on the spot here with your favorite weapon type and design questions! I suppose I'd still have to pick the Charge Blade as my favorite thanks to its sheer versatility and depth. Design is even more difficult since there are so many good-looking weapons but one favorite of mine has always been the Akantor Greatsword. It looks badass, is absolutely massive and I believe the first GS that expands while charging. In part also because of this hilarious video, which sums up one of those satisfying feelings playing Monster Hunter. [Link]

The Awakening DLC is mostly worth it, but can get insanely hard depending on your difficulty. On Normal you'd still get a challenge out of some of the Einherjar chapters where you fight characters from past games, though. The Scramble pack is hilarious for all of its dialogue, but the best one is definitely "The Future Past" letting you experience what's going on in Lucina's bleak future. If you play any of them, definitely pick the latter. It's also pretty difficult, though. Then again, I'm basing this on the Hard difficulty.

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
After watching the trailer for the new Zelda and I missed Breath of the Wild so badly so I started a new game! It's great because I can pick it up and not need to invest a huge amount of time. With Dark Souls, I find I want to carve out a good three or more hours because I need to get in that groove.

Still loving Dark Souls, I did finally have to look something up and realised I was missing a boss (Alridch), so I'm hoping to maybe next weekend try and finish that up. I heard there's a really unique boss in this game, it's a 'dancer' of some sort and has a very erratic attack pattern. I read a couple articles that said she's hands down one of the most difficult bosses ever.

After Dark Souls, the two 'long' games I have left in my Backloggery are Persona 4 Golden, and Nier Automata. And for new games, I have Link's Awakening that I am dying for, and then I have the newest Fire Emblem on order. So that will be 2 games bought this year!

I think having Psycho Mantis mess with the controller just left me in awe, even when I played it as an adult. Having that 'wall' broken was so cool!

It left a decent bruise, but it was also the embarrassment

That's wild! I also just saw the announcement that they're delaying the new Animal Crossing to prevent the team from having to do a lot of crunch. I know Nintendo is historically really good for not having those insane crunch times, but I'd love to see the other big companies do the same.

Another user here, JDcooper played Phantom Hourglass and I think he really hated it. Apparently there's an annoying part in the game where you keep having to go back to the same dungeon and it's a god awful combination of timed stealth

Oh my goodness! I'm doing the same in October, and left an afternoon to go to Leblanc cafe

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
Invincible: 10+ beat or complete in a row
Yeah, I feel like if I was playing an MMO, no amount of planning would help.

Glad you're enjoying Vesperia! Patty was a lot of fun, I thought, though her play style takes some getting used to.

I actually don't main a single weapon in MH. I enjoy every weapon a lot and try to use them all equally. In GU, I'm currently sitting at 140-150 uses for each of them (with my carried over Generations data, of course). Rotating weapons regularly is a bit difficult until lategame when you have a nice collection of weapons and sets but it's how I enjoy the game the most!

I'm not far behind you with a regular RTX 2080 paired with an Intel i7-9700k! It's gonna be sooo sweet to play World with that setup! I've had my new PC for over a month now and I'm waiting until World to break it in. It's gonna be glorious! Every crown I get is one step closer to that and it's still keeping me going.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already own World on PC. CD Keys is an awesome site, though! I've used it a whole bunch before, mainly to buy top-up cards. So convenient with their instant delivery.
