Nice game of the year list.
I really can't wait to get to Dragon Quest XI, I'm just not sure when to start it since it's such a long game.
Tetris Effect is really, really good and if you want to get it Fist of the North Star is on sale on amazon for 20 bucks, I just picked that up.

now that I've finished Dragon Quest XI and seen the true ending I can confirm it has accomplished for me what no other game has done in 24 years and dethroned Final Fantasy VI as my favorite RPG of all time

this is truly the pinnacle of Dragon Quest

I agree with you. It was a fine game, but didn't have the impact that for example Gone Home did. In my opinion anyway. A lot of people seem to disagree with us :P
