Playing a RPG? Going back and Completing a game?? Adding DreamCast games??? Who are you and what have you done with Mr.Dots??

Good Luck on the original Final Fantasy. To me, its still a classic. Has some rough patches, but its a fantastic 8-Bit RPG. Congrats on the surprise Master System. And I think you will really like Power Stone and Gunbird 2. Those are good games right up your alley. I also really loved Evolution as that was a surprise for me.

Nothing like starting the weekend off with a package in the mail from a good friend.

Especially when that package contains an unexpected new console (Sega Master System) with games, plus bonus Dreamcast and Game Boy games!

I would definitely suggest checking out the Lufia games on the SNES first before the handheld ones. Lufia 1 is pretty simple and basic, but still a fun game. Lufia 2 has a mix of Zelda Puzzles and Pokemon mixed in with the Classic JRPG. The GBA game is apparently more like Lufia 2. The GBC is more of a Dungeon Crawler mixed with RPG elements. I've never tried any of the handheld ones, so this will be a new experience, but I absolutely loved the SNES games, so I wanted to try them out.

Any exciting picks from her DreamCast collection?? I see you have some Dreamcast games. I don't think its the lost great system people think it is, but I think it is highly under-rated. Very hit and miss on the games, but the hits are really well done. Any Capcom Arcade port is a great game. Do some research on them first just to make certain and bring some Cash because some of those games can be expensive!

Mister Dots is such the trend setter!

Nice Turtles GB pick up! I was walking around two game stores I normally don't hit up last week and I passed on some of them. I checked their Facebook page and they added even more games I wanted, so I couldn't control myself. They are all games I have wanted for a while and ones I know that will be good. It's harder to find GB and GBA titles, so I decided to jump at the chance.

Yeah, you were right. Buck Bumble was pretty bad.

I played the first stage and thought it wasn't bad. Then Stage 2 was pretty bad and I never beat Stage 3. I was just scratching the surface and the game was becoming pretty unplayable. It's like they took Rogue Squadron and made it terrible. The controls are horrific. It takes forever to go up and you can't just float there. You never know who is shooting at you or even what you should be aiming at. I did not want to suffer through it any more, so I just sold it to a local game store.

Good Theme Song though.

Oh boy, Ducktales takes me back to a much simpler time! The reference to leaving the NES on made me chuckle, as it reminded me of when I did similar as a kid with Gauntlet. Paused every morning before I went to school, and picked up when I got home. Oh how I raged coming home one day to find there had been a power outage...

Boogie Wings IS a heckuva good time. I agree that it's a shame more people neither know of it nor have played it. The wacky shenanigans after having been shot down are alone enough reason (in my mind) to give it a solid playthrough attempt. If I had to say anything negative about it, it's that the play area can become far too 'busy' at times. I've lost tons of lives dodging enemies & their fire and simply not being able to tell what is considered harmless background dressing and something that counts as an impact. That being said, the moment in one playthrough where I was riding a circus elephant inside a crashing cargo plane as the elephant flailed around in weightless freefall was hilarious & memorable enough to make up for any nitpicks I might have had. Fantastic romp

My thoughts exactly. Borderlands was a lot of fun, but then Borderlands 2 came along and improved the experience in every conceivable way. It's one of my favorite games, so I'm always glad to see someone else play it (and enjoy it) for the first time.

If you like sniper rifles and dealing massive damage with melee attacks, you'll like Zer0. Of the six playable characters, he's my second-favorite. (Gaige the Mechromancer is the best, but I think you have to pay extra to use her.) Plus, all of his voice lines are haiku!

I love the archetype of the sympathetic villain -- the kind of villain that makes you think to yourself, "You know, maybe they have a point and I'm really the bad guy here" -- and Handsome Jack is one of the best there is. I might even go so far as to call him my favorite video game antagonist. Gearbox should be proud of themselves for creating such a compelling character.

Yep, I'm back on the Life Is Strange wagon. I finished the prequel, Before the Storm, which focuses on the relationship between Chloe and Rachel. It was very entertaining, but it suffers from the same issue that plagues all prequels: you already know how it's going to end before you even begin playing. Oh well. Oh, and for what it's worth, this one did not make me cry, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting into the right headspace beforehand.

If you're a PlayStation Plus member, Life Is Strange: True Colors is on sale for $24 (normal price is $60) until the end of next week. With a deal like that, I figured now was a good time to scoop it up.

Oh, you finished Borderlands 2. Nice. What did you think of it? Which character did you use? If you're interested in playing some of the DLC, I highly recommend Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. That one has my favorite location in the entire Borderlands series (Flamerock Refuge) and one of my favorite boss fights in the series as well.

Also, Handsome Jack -- best villain or bestest villain?
I have the games. I will play them.
