I get what you mean. Why bother keeping track of inconsequential things over a long time.

Me on the other hand, I meticulously catalogue ALL the inconsequential things in my gaming life, so I can tell you precisely the best game I played over that same time period.

I'll go with Civilization V: Gods and Kings, which edges out the other major Civ 5 expansion for top place. I prefer the mechanical changes in G&K over Brave New World, though both of them (notably when combined) do well to increase the complexity of Civ 5's base gameplay structure.


I like bunny girls. Last game I played with bunny girl (costumes) was Dragon Quest 8. Although, I see plenty of them (mainly touhou variants) while watching Salty Bet.

Well, see, that changes everything. I actually was around SA for once in my life when pony was just starting up and they had wonderful threads there -- actually ironically I was on /co/ for the first time in years because I didn't know anywhere else to talk about it and I knew FiM in its infancy was big there, and someone linked an irc pony chat that ended up being linked to SA (it was #ponygoons, so obviously) but it was an amazing chat full of amazing people, and they got me to actually register on SA and take place in their equally-awesome pony threads. It was so exciting and fun, checking and engaging in that thread every day... until it was gassed, because "we're sa and we're super cool and edgy and act like highschool freshmen so we can't have anything nice like that here". And then they convinced them to allow the thread to come back, and it did -- and then within a couple weeks was gassed again, with everyone in it banned for various lengths of time, and a lot of mods just going out of their way to say that such a thing is never welcome on SA again. So that was the beginning and end of my association with SA -- then ponygoons forum formed, and within like 3 days there I had had enough of it. It had the same once-awesome guys and all, but oh my god, the atmosphere there was so painfully paranoid about EVERYTHING because they "wanted to make sure that if any rogue sa person happened to pass by they would know we're cool and normal, and NOT CREEPY". Oh god, that term, "creepy", tossed around for *ANYTHING*. Even the absolute most safe and normal pics, or dialogue, or anything, was a bannable offense on grounds of "seeming creepy". I'm guessing that forum you're on evolved from ponygoons then -- and from the post you linked (I even notice some of the names...) it looks like... yeah, without a doubt, they haven't grown or changed a bit. That kind of atmosphere's not one I could ever survive in, this constant fear that anything and everything could be deemed 'creepy' and an inability to actually enjoy things or have fun. And I *CAN'T* respect the 'community at large's opinion on it, so, well, that's that.

It's actually made me quite upset even thinking about all that again, and of course being shown that perhaps the only sane pony place left is the one I'd be the least comfortable in. Oh well~

Ahhh well you were responding very swiftly for a good track there and then suddenly nothing for like a month after such a... kind of post as I made? I have come a long way in not assuming things which is a habit of mine, but that time it seemed all but spelled out for me that I'd made you uncomfortable or mad or something. I'm glad to hear that wasn't the case!

I suppose you may have never even added me to your multitap to begin with; I noticed myself not being there when I made my previous post and assumed it was just further proof, but perhaps I was never there to begin with haha. And on top of that... I wonder if you ever did even see that last post which I deleted from a month ago? It was basically a long, heated ramble about the unfairness of both those issues (no even lightly suggestive art and especially no anthro art even if clean, which really pertubed me); though in the end like I said I could really USE a clean hangout as opposed to the alternative, that might even help me get back to why I loved ponies so much to begin with, just the fact it's a great cartoon and how passionate I am about cartoons. Still, though, the anthro thing bugs me, it really rubs me the wrong way for an entire community to lean on the side of 'characters that are already anthropomorphic by definition drawn in such a way as to have hands and stand on two legs are OBVIOUSLY only the product of perverted minds. Oh, but Equestria Girls? that's fine!" I'll still have to think on it a bit but I'm highly considering posting there and one or two other places for that matter soon, I could use a change of pace...

I really have only messed around online on AC with a couple people yet... the online is sadly still 'clunky' to set up to me, what with having to register each other, and the whole train station coming/going sequence taking FAR too long (like a full minute for something that should take 10 seconds imo)... and you still can't do a lot of things online, the fact they actually ADDED a microphone item but removed the ability to use it online (which was a BIG ADVERTISED FEATURE of City Folk which came out YEARS ago) with a mic on the DS right there...even with best friends.... ARRRRRGH. But stilll~

Here, here, now, I went through and deleted all those weird comments where I was getting too hot-headed about some issues on that forum. It looks like you've removed me from your multitap and I feel awful about that; I'd still really like to be friends! And truth be told, I'm still very interested in that forum... god knows i could use some PG-rated, non-adult-content-filled actually-nice-and-stuff pony in my life. And ANYTHING like that in my life right now would be welcome. When it comes down to it the only thing that really bothers me and baffles me is the whole anti-anthro issue, but I mean there's plenty of pony to enjoy out there that's not anthro, anyway.
