I really don't understand how nobody thought about "roguelike poker". Balatro is essentially that: you play poker hands and, with the help of weird jokers, power-ups and whatnot, you try to destroy each ante (the bosses). It's incredibly addictive (really fucking addictive), simple, with crisp and gorgeous pixel-art and tons of content to discover. Overall the best deckbuilder roguelike, slay the spire has been dethroned by a bunch of french cards with foil modifiers.
