The Gamecube game is better, but I still think it's fun. If you can pick it up for $20, I would do it. Mario Tennis OPen at least has online multiplayer, and there are a few of us with the game.

That's a very good question, and frankly I'm not entirely sure myself when I'll be getting a Wii U. Unlike games I never pre-order consoles (unless they're limited Mario editions of course), but I'm not going to wait it out or anything like I've been doing much to my chagrin with the 3DS. Like the Wii I'll probably buy a Wii U when things settle down as I'm really very excited for NSMBU, but I just wish my backlog hadn't grown so big (where's a Mini Mushroom when you need one...)
