Sounds good man, this is the type of challenge that can be fun for everyone! I think most Backloggers are pretty honest about their gaming accomplishments, so I know you'll keep your true progress up to date, like everyone else does. Good luck man, I'll keep an eye on your progress! Here's to a fun summer of gaming.

There were stitches in his hands, so you could tell he had fingers, but those are gone now, and he looks like he just has white puffy gloves.

It is. Got it around the release of Sonic The Hedgheog 2. So it's like, 17 years old now or so? Probably a little less.

My Now Playing isn't usually as full, but I've been playing a bunch of random VC games on my stream recently, which is why there's a lot. Some of the games that have been on there a while (like GT5 & Lode Runner: Extra) I haven't actually played in a few months, but I don't really want to take them off until I get around to beating them, so that's why they're there. I'll also leave games that I've recently 'd or 'd that I won't be playing again for a while on for a few days after the / occurred (which is the case with Metal Slug 5 & 6)

It's alright. I mean all the characters and places are there if that's what you mean. For story, the main character, Emil, wants revenge on Lloyd, who we all know is the hero of the original game, setting him up as apparent main antagonist. Along the way, he meets Marta and becomes the Knight of Ratatosk through a pact with a Centurion(Powerful beings pretty much) to protect Marta and they go off to try to find and confront Lloyd.

Not sure if that summary is necessary but here's my opinion. The battle system is good, but the game is not as good as Symphonia. The most obvious thing is the exclusion of the World Map, instead you just point and click where you want to go, which is a shame since it's in all Tales games. And Emil has everything I hate in a main character personality wise. Wimp? Check. Some demonic side? Check. Trying to protect some chick with their relationship being a bit cheesy? Check. The environments are also not that different, having only minor changes as well as the music. Story can be over the top at times, but feels like filler at times as well, as the group gets awfully sidetracked(Something that reminds me of DragonQuest, which is a series I tried but does not interest me. I played IX and didn't really like it). So yeah, is it a good game? Yes. But is this sequel just as good as Symphonia and continue the game well? Hell no. Although keep in mind, I never beat it. I got far in it, but I sold it because I got some good bucks for it at the time, which I kind of regret doing as it's not THAT bad and you should always play a game till you beat it. But I doubt beating the game will change my score of 3 stars unless something amazing happens.

Bald Bull 2 was pretty tough for me at first, but I seem to be catching on to what needs to be done to beat him. It definitely does hinge on whether or not you can counter his bull charge, so once you get that timing down, he's not too bad as long as you can dodge him. Don Flamenco 2 isn't so bad, but Mr. Sandman is going to be tough for sure.

As far as Spelunky goes, I haven't beaten it yet. I'm not even sure what level I've gotten to, so I thought it was kind of random (that's why I only listed my high score in the game note for it). It's pretty darn tough...I'll just have to keep working at it.

Sounds good on the PS3 front man, I'll add you back sometime this weekend and we can do battle. I'll probably be a little rusty, but I'll do my best!

The Phoenix Wright series is awesome. I've only played the first two games so far, but I loved them both...I'll probably start the 3rd one soon. I'd recommend them to anyone. They are a bit slower paced (naturally), but if you don't mind that, you should like them. The writing is fantastic and the characters are great too. It's pretty addicting once you get into one of the cases.
