While the original series is good, and I loved them as well, the GU series felt "easier" for lack of a better term. It was more cinematic and when you started up the next game in the series, it actually felt like you were starting the next game in the series, unlike the OG in my opinion. I also seemed to care about more about more characters. I guess GU was just a bit more satisfying overall. You'll just have to experience it.

Also, yeah he kind of does. While I did plan my Lelouch avatar matching the rest of my page with monochrome ways, I cannot claim to have planned to have Yu look like Lelouch. That one was just fate.
