★★★★★ The character interaction and development blew me away and made any quibbles I had about the game negligible. Probably doesn't help that Alistair charmed the heck out of me. One of my favorite games of all time.

Play Binding Blade, it's easily the best in the series (For me). And if you know Japanese (As I see you do, which by the way, Nice!), you can play it without a translation! (Also, how dare you! Junpei is da man!)

I can see that, yet I disagree. The Magnus cards are such a major part of the game - so much so that there's really only one major sidequest in all of Baten Kaitos other than their collection. Literally every in game list has Magnus all over it. They even have them NUMBERED for god's sake.

It's frustrating, but the ompletionist in me has no choice but to consider them mandatory.

Hi Lyndis! I was told you speak Japanese, could I add you on Steam/Discord so I know more people who speak Japanese?

Surprisingly, yes! Only 6 endings in 999 despite the number 9 being the most important thing in the game.

Well, I can legitimately see the complaint though. That is if you've only played THAT kind of genre and nothing else. I like a lot of variety. My main draw on this game however is the pure stealth method. Its quite enjoyable doing critical kills often. There's a few battles that isn't so stealth (boss of chapters of sort) and it can be kinda annoying. But that's what the spear is for.

Anyway, seriously though, if you like Far Cry 4, you'll definitely love this one easy. My husband made the right call knowing this.

I always like games where you can either charm/threaten or beat someone up to get a discount on things. It's kinda dumb how shopkeepers charge full price to the person who's saving the world or has already saved their village or something

"Thank you for saving my village. As thanks, let me sell you things for full price"

Mega Man with a supercharged soundtrack, some enhancements, a couple extras and some doodads. If you have an NTSC-J PlayStation and can find the Complete Works series, I recommend it.
