So this list is basically the organized list I am trying to use to keep myself on track and not let myself stray too much from the games I'm trying to finish at any given time. I have such a short attention span and so many games that sometimes I have a hard time staying on one for long enough to finish it, then when I come back to it I have to start all over again because I'm a stickler like that.
The slots are mostly by genre and will be refilled from the genre list or changed as I see fit. The only slots that require extra explanation are the last three, which are sort of special
- The sandbox slot is special because it's for games like Terraria, Minecraft, or MMOs if I ever get into another one.
- The portable slot is for when I'm on the move with no other port game.
- The FFQuest is something a friend of mine and I have been doing. We started "Racing" through the Numbered Final Fantasy games last year. Basically the deal was FF1-13, including X-2, excluding 11 obviously. I'm up to 4, he has stopped at 2, but hey, I'm still going, it's just extremely slow going. I also want to do the DS remakes of 3 and 4 at some point.
At the top I have what game I'm currently working on a speed run for. I just got into speed running, and so far I'm really enjoying myself, so I'm hoping to keep something up there constantly.
Update: I've been gone for a while, and it has caused me to lose any drive for the games I had been working on runs for, largely because I think I picked them poorly. I chose based on trying to get a run up on SDA instead of just to work on a game I enjoy in order to get better at speed running in general. I'm back to the grindstone on finding a good game to run at this point.
Well, if you made it all the way down here, I applaud you. Good gaming everyone!
I'm surprised you haven't played River City Ransom EX--it was a really good remake.
