I did it!! I finally got around to beating the final optional boss today... so that completes DQ8 for me. I have beaten the monster arena, gotten the gospel ring, and defeated the final boss twice now.

Well, I finally got ahead enough with my Artist Trading Cards to spend some time with video games. I haven't touched FF VI, as it's a lot of level grinding, and besides, I wanted to see the original ending for DQ8. Now that it's done, I am desperately trying to make things, beat Rank S at the monster arena, then go to the post game area. The only annoying part is that when I sleep, I see the same scene over and over again... something's calling to me (namely, the post game dungeon).
