And yeah it can be very frustrating to get elite smash. Especially when the system is pretty terrible and there are a lot of people who put casual rules sets on or have terrible connection.

But hey, I wish you good luck on improving your skill! You can definitely do it, it just takes time. And if you ever do plan on getting into tournaments, don't be afraid to go to a smaller weekly or such if available. Even if a lot of people end up being better, local experience is major. Also hopefully people can help you out. That's even if it's available though. I'm thankful to be fortunate enough to have stuff like that active enough around where I live since I don't live in a big city or something.

Its taken me FOREVER and countless hours to get where I am now, and I still have a long way to go. So I'm not super good at giving advice.

Hey! Yeah I'm doing alright. School is rough but I just recently went to my first regional smash tournament with over 70 entrants and made it out of pools so that's cool!

Yeah, I love three houses but I can totally understand how some stuff could get boring. I probably wont do a a third playthrough, Blue Lions, until later in the future.

And YEAH, I was super surprised that we got Undertale representation in the game. The Megalovania remix is really awesome!

Yeah, I haven't played Dragon Quest or Banjo-Kazooie either, but yeah it looks like they picked good reps.

I personally don't care about the exclusion of the national dex, but I can definately understand why so many people its upset. Its wierd because everyone was so happy before E3 during the pokemon direct but now everyone is in outrage. I guess I'm not surprised though.

But yeah I totally understand you. I'm kind of the same way to you with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There is some stuff I'm pretty dissapointed with but I'm sure the game will be amazing and I'll enjoy it.

I watched the E3 direct, I'll be honest, I didn't get too hype over that much but HOLY **** i was so happy at the final reveal of a Breath of the Wild sequel since the original is my favorite game of all time.

Looks like I have a pretty similar opinion on the direct. I also am in love with Corviknight (I like edgy things lol). That design is just so awesome. I'll probably get Sword as well unless some version exclusive pokemon in Shield wins me over. Also RIP Zacian if he has to carry that sword in his mouth for all of eternity lol.
I'm with you on the Dynamaxing. I'm not too fond of it, it really does just look like lamer Mega Evolution. Plus I'm not a fan of once per battle mechanics (depends). I do think the one cool thing about it though is I'm sure we will get some awesome graphics out of dynamax attacks.
The champion really reminds me of Iris, similar skin and hair color.

What do you think about the pokemon visible on the overworld. I think its pretty cool, it might make hunting down a certain pokemon cooler? idk but i think it will be nice. I think there might be normal encounters as well, I have no clue, interested to see how that whole thing turns out.

Yeah I'm really hyped for Sword and Shield too. I think the names are wierd but the more I think about it, they really aren't given the names of other pokemon games. Personally I don't really like any of the starters but oh well. My opinion could easily change with the release of final evolutionsin the future.

I'm really happy its based on England. I think the style will fit the game very well. I really like the protagonist designs.

Yeah hopefully. I also hope they have good designs for any new pokemon. Personally I think they would announce something huge pokemon related at E3 but who knows.

Also something I desperately want is something like the PWT in Black 2 / White 2. It was an actually good " Post game" battle facility that isnt terrible game design. I'm looking at you battle frontier (seriously its almost just pure RNG without litterally perfect pokemon) . The PWT required you to have thought out team and good strategy, but you didn't have to have perfect EVs and IVs and crap like that. I like stuff like that because it provides something really challenging while being fair and not completely RNG (yeah i know its pokemon so there will always be a big RNG element)


I see you started Bravely Default, I've been really interested in this game especially since I loved Octopath Traveler so you will have to tell me your thoughts on it in the future

Nice, yeah I was about that age when I got Platinum too, maybe slightly older. SoulSilver was my first game, but Platinum was a quick second and so I still have such a huge connection to that game as well.

also yeah Arceus is a great pokemon

I personally think that Gen 8 will probably be next too, although I think in the future we will probably get Gen 4 remakes.
Gen 1 remakes on GBA
Gen 2 remakes on DS
Gen 3 remakes on 3DS
Gen 4 remakes on Switch? I hope so

Honestly kind of scared that they will mess up the remakes, but I think whats really going on is that I know I can't get as nostalgic with a remake, I'm sure they will make it awesome. Kind of hard to mess up already an amazing game, and by the past remakes, they show that they are great at making them.

I'm more concerned about Gen 8 although I think it has tons of potential beign on switch. I just really hope it doesnt go into the Pokemon Go area gameplay wise, which is a big reason why I didn't get lets go Pikachu or Eevee. I hope they keep it traditional gameplay and maybe add a gameplay element as long as its not too crazy. I hope its pretty challenging too, although maybe thats too much to expect.

I know it sounded like nitpicking a lot, but in reality I'm excited to see what pokemon stuff comes to switch from here on out. I can't wait to see what will happen

Nice job beating Pokemon Pearl. The Sinnoh Pokemon games are one of my most nostalgic games of all time so I love them.
Yeah its kind of crazy how under leveled the game puts you at towards the end, especially in diamond and pearl where as platinum is slightly more balanced.

Even though gen 4 is my favorite gen I absolutely hate how slow it is, like you mentioned. Just the battle animations, to the encounters, just everything is incredibly slow. Totally understandable.
