You haven't updated in forever, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Fatal Frame.

On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
Trials & Tribulations? I just had a delightful time with that one.

Plot wise? Nature of the Beast. The reason I have so much timed logged in the game is because of the amount of time I spent doing some of the Chantry quests, not to mention doing the DLC quest and taking advantage of the infinite treasure chest storage of awesomeness!

I think you told me Broken Circle and some other plot quest were actually together? I don't look forward to that! Money is still a pain to come by, but I figure I can just sell the jewels that aren't gifts or of any real use to get the money I need to buy new armor. That's what I need really. New armor!

Oh, and I also still love Alistair. What can I say? I like sarcastic people. They're good people.

Final Fantasy XIII platinum unlocked! Woo!

As for Muramasa, I'm enjoying it. RPG elements aren't as heavy as they were in Odin Sphere, and the combat is very diverse between the two characters.

How's your Demon's Souls progress coming alone? I only need one more trophy before going Platinum on this game. It's so time consuming!

Demon's Souls is bound to be eclipsed by the rest of this month's big hitters (not to mention next month's as well). Personally, I'd only really recommend Demon's Souls to you if you've the patience for dying and learning from those mistakes as the game's biggest challenge is the enemies. Some are easy to kill, but the rest usually require a good plan.

You'll get pissed. A lot. But the most rewarding feeling comes after you've killed the boss. I know I've felt it!

The game's online system is very good about letting you examine bloodstains to show how another play died, and you can even see other people who are in the same area as you are (they show up as White Phantoms). Co-op is possible, but you have to be very creative about where you leave your Blueeye Stone mark or where the person you want to play with leaves that mark. You can play the levels in either Human Form or Soul Form, and Human Form is required if you want someone to join you, with your partner being in Soul Form. The same also applies for someone on your friend's list who wants you to help them; they have to be in Human Form while you're in Soul Form.

I'd say give it at least a rental to determine whether you'll really enjoy it. Trust me, though, when I say you'll grow to love it and actively look forward to a boss kicking your ass.

Ah well that's cool. I don't think I ever found the game to be punishing back when I played the import, but even I couldn't ignore how challenging and difficult random encounters and bosses could be. It helps that the augments help turn the tide of battle at times, but generally enemies and bosses were pretty smart about how to gain the initiative in battle faster than you. I think the only real boss I had problems with was the stupid orb boss in the Tower of Babel.

Hahaha aren't we all busy! Hope you're doing good in school and classes aren't beating you up in the face. About Atelier Rorona, NISA announced they'll be localizing it for North American shores for a Summer 2010 release. Pretty good, but I can't help but feel it'll be eclipsed by Final Fantasy XIII's eventual summer release. Oh well!
