Heh. Actually, I probably like Shadow Wars less than you do. I wouldn't call it excellent. My first playthrough (on Rookie) was plagued by crash issues. I feel as though the test team spent not enough time combing the easiest difficulty, because I got at least ten freezes on Rookie that haven't shown up on Veteran so far.

At first I thought it was my 3DS that was defective, but none of the pack-in 3DSware stuff has given me the same error, and neither has Pokemon Black, which I've racked up over 200 hours with on my 3DS. So it's definitely the game that is malfunctioning. It was very frustrating to get a crash at the end of a level, until I started to abuse the instant-save feature. Even afterwards though, it still sucks to get a crash.

Gameplay was fine, nothing spectacular. And the Tom Clancy franchise, for me, feels a little rote and obvious, so I wasn't digging many of the choices in presentation and story either.

All that to say that yes, I have started another playthrough, but only to satisfy my completionist urges until something else comes along. I probably won't pick it up ever again once Zelda 3DS comes out
