Traded in Star Ocean First Departure, Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Chrono Trigger DS, The Last Story, Super Smash Brother Brawl, Star Fox Adventures, Fire Emblem GBA, LittleBigPlanet 3, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, & Soleil for cash and credit - I've already bought Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I'm looking at the Valkyria Chronicles games on the PSP, as well as Lost Dimension on PS3.

I've kept the games in my backloggery, and I only wish I'd done so for the other games I've previously owned over the years - I think I could spend all day trying to recall each and every one...

Bart's Nightmare [SNES] may be the first game that I will have to abandon - Christ, this game is awful!

Life's too short to spend it playing games like that.

Damn! Was on a roll after beating Chrono Trigger DS, only to discover I actually own Rayman Origins on the Wii (I didn't think I did), and now I have to posthumously add it to my Backloggery.

On to 'The Next BIG Thing' now - shouldn't take too long, then I'll have to decide whether to go on to 'Beyond Good and Evil' or 'Castlevania: Symphony of the Night'.

I'll play 'Dead Island' and 'Dead Island: Riptide' for the challenges and 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within' and 'XCOM 2' sporadically, then I'll be able to make a new list. I might play some more 'Shin Megami Tensei IV' in preparation for 'SMT IV: Final'.

I really enjoyed Alan Wake. My problem was by the time I got to the 5th part of it I just got bored of all the fights. It just felt too repetitive. Aside from completing the puzzle at the Power Station, the last parts of the game could've been identical to the chapters before it.

I'm going to make a concerted effort to beat my backlog. Fortunately, there is very little in the way of exciting releases for me coming up.

Actually, you can launch a game on steam, tab out and resume the download. And continue to play + download.

So many steam games (mostly from the Steam complete pack), and I haven't got round to playing them...

This is because I've been trying to download them all onto my computer so I can save them to DVD-ROM and uninstall some of them, but alas my Internet connection can't download AND run a steam game at the same time.

I've currently got about 7 more Gigabytes to download (plus a few more for "Zombie Panic", etc.) then I'll have completed my epic task. But I think I've had enough of downloading for now, so I'll give competitive Team Fortress 2 a try.

Traded in Scribblenauts (in lieu of news of its vastly improved sequel - I may buy into the franchise again at a later date) and Starfox Command (not really my kind of game) for a brand new copy of Monster Hunter Tri (GAME exclusive bundle).

I decided to treat myself to the Valve complete pack of games on Steam (after my mishap with a 2nd hand copy of Half-Life 2 - who knew?) - primarily because I wanted to play around with the Gmod program I've been seeing online.

It wasn't all roses and sunshine, as I soon discovered I was going to have to download these games. 7 GB FOR LEFT 4 DEAD 2!! Also, a quick look on a website that tells you if your system can run a particular game was telling me some of these games are incompatible with Windows 7. Finally, in trying to download my first game (Portal - a big one at 6260mB) the file progress would keep resetting for no particular reason.

In the end, I was able to download Ricochet (useless on its own as it's a multiplayer) and Half-Life (1) and I can say the latter is a pretty good game from what I've played of it.

I will add them to my backloggery, and every subsequent game of the "Valve Complete Pack" as I download and install them.

Just bought Sensible Soccer 2006 and Half Life 2 froma charity shop. Sensible Soccer 2006 is - contrary to the boast on the box "Best Football Action Game" - is the worst football game I have ever played. Also it crashes every time I leave a particular menu.

Half Life 2 (as I suspected) has already been activated on another computer, and yet the sod was happy to hand it into a charity shop for someone to unwillingly buy it. At least I got the steam browser from it, but I'm sure I could have gotten it for free anyway. Thanks a lot, you prick!

Still, I'm due to receive Moero! Nekketsu! Ouendan! in the post over the next few days (and it's prequel over the next week or so), so every cloud...
