★★★★★ A rich, beautiful world with unique and well-planned worldbuilding. A cast of charming, emotionally involving characters. Outstanding gameplay and a strong soundtrack. A resonant, moving, and thematically coherent story. This was my first Final Fantasy, and even now it holds up as one of my favorites. Though it shows its age as one of the earliest big PS2 titles, and has some shoddy voice-acting, it's so very worth it.

★★★★★ I don't play MMOs for long. My watermark is typically a month, after which I go back to single-player games and ignore the MMO forever. But I've been playing Guild Wars 2 since launch. It's fast, fun, and immersive, with mechanics that make me actually want to be around other people when I play, and an immense, beautiful world that it encourages you to get out and explore. The lore and playable races are great, though the story is a bit silly.
