I use an emulator, though one called Ootake, as MagicEngine doesn't seem to support virtual CD drives. Even though I have the CD itself, I still prefer to make a disc image of it on my hard drive, to keep the CD clean and safe. :3

I did think about getting a Japanese PC Engine and Japanese Saturn for a while, but it seemed too much of a hassle to deal with different power sockets and old TV differences!

I really do love the idea of mahjong RPGs! But... not knowing Japanese really hinders my ability to play them. ^.^;

I can get by with the standard mahjong games because the only text you really need to know is which button means 'save'. But, for the adventure and RPG types, it becomes really confusing!

I got a physical copy of the one I'm playing at the moment. ^.^ [Link]

I'm planning on importing some Sega Saturn ones too!

That sounds like an amazing game! I've been searching for mahjong games on ebay today, it's amazing how many there are, and how weird they can get.

The Mega Drive has a Japanese detective adventure game... where you solve everything by playing mahjong.

I'm wondering if they still make these kinds of games, I saw a PS3 one on eBay, and there's one for the PS4 but it's only available on Japanese PSN, which is a real pain to get access to. I kind of want to collect them now!
