Super Smash Bros for 3DS
Basically Brawl on a handheld, with a few new characters and stages. Not that that's a bad thing, but it feels like I've done this before.

Beat the game as GalGun. Probably won't bother with the other characters, since they play almost exactly the same.

Well, as it turns out, Comcept did manage to get a company called Fuze to fund Red Ash, leaving the Kickstarter to fund extra stretch goals. So, while the Kickstarter did fail, the game will still be made. There are just some extra features we might have gotten that we won't be getting.

Also, did you hear that Mighty No. 9 got delayed again? It's not coming out until early 2016. I'm not one of those people who are super upset with Mighty No. 9, but I am a bit disappointed.

Red Ash is going to fail, and it's all because you won't log on and pledge 350K. Why do you hate Fake Mega Man?

My "friend" bought my Mega Man X7 for my birthday. True, I do need it for my collection, but I'm still open to suggestions for revenge extraction.

Well it's a bit late now but Happy New Year

I got a bunch of games and some dvd's and stuff. The usual. And I will use them all! ......maybe just 5 minutes for some! But I'll use them. Lol oj.

Sounds like you got some awesome stuff. Gurren Lagann on Surround sound would be awesome! They just released a BluRay collection of Gurren Lagann that contains everything. The series, The movies, Couple of Bonus Episodes, Music Videos and all sorts. So tempted to get it but it's about £100 so not really prepared to put that sort of money down on it lol.

Well I was hoping to have the Zone demo ready before christmas but I've been working on something for my mum as it's her 50th birthday this month and just putting a little video together using family videos we have. So that sort of knocked it back a bit. I'm still working on it but only short bursts until I get this other thing done. Once that's done I've got a schedule of getting Datatec City done followed by Episode 3 of Cyberspace 2.0 which I've been tempted to work on lately.

Actually this isn't the sequel to your birthday already and you're not delusional. In fact you never even did that thing for my birthday and I never made you anything for your birthday and in fact we don't even know each other. We don't even exist. Andy's just stoned and we're something he conjured up in his mind. But it's ok as Andy's never not stoned so we'll be here for a long time. He's so stoned that if you asked him if he was stoned he would tell you he doesn't get stoned and isn't stoned. That's how stoned he is. Or maybe.....I'm just dreaming all of this.......

I did get Sonic Boom for Wii U this christmas and it is very average. Wouldn't call it the worst sonic game. Wouldn't call it the best. Wouldn't call it a sonic game. The cutscenes are hilarious which is the best thing about it so far. But besides that it feels like an average Jak and Daxter. It's quite hard to precisly jump as I keep moving too far or too short of things I need to jump onto. Also while the cutscenes are hilarious the in game commentary is not. Everytime you hit a boost pad, collect a ring, spindash or whatever the characters will make a comment on it.....the same comment....everytime!!!!! (Or close enough). That got annoying within a minute. But yeah I'll playthrough it but it's not high on my priority list.

And yes do check out the phoenix wright trilogy. The first 3 games are just as epic as DD and well worth checking out.

It only effected me that one time as once I earned another emblem and did that level I unlocked knuckles and then went back to the first stage and started 100% each level so I always had enough emblems after that.
The second issue is that there is no invincibility frames. If you walk into an enemy and then walk into it again a second after then you die. This isn't too bad to avoid with enemies though. But it's worse with pits. If you fall into a pit with rings you won't die. You will be taken back to the start of the pit and then lose your rings. However this all happens real quick. Usually I'm holding forward to move and then I fall into a pit, get transported back but I'm still holding forward and then end up running straight back into the pit instantly. It all happens so fast that It took me ages to get used to it. It's only a minor annoyance really but still it was there.
I was going to say that another issue was that it was really short. But according to the 3DS activity log I played the game for 9 Hours 45 Minutes. I 100%'d the game in that time though but I guess it's still not that bad for a sonic game so scratch that complaint lol.

So yeah overall I enjoyed Sonic Boom 3DS. We'll see if the Wii U Version can surprise me over christmas.

Also friendly reminder. Phoenix Wright Trilogy is out now . It's rather pricey to be honest....but buying the original games on DS Would probably cost far more anyway. Plus the games are outstanding so it's certainly worth every penny.

They are more straight forward than the Large Levels and you are forced to play as Sonic in each so they feel more sonic like. They feel similar to Sonic Rivals in away but far better. You can't attack your opponent or anything it's just a simple race. They are rather easy aswell as I never lost a single one.
Finally there are the worm tunnels. These feel more like special stages. It takes a 3D Perspective and sonic is auto-running down a tunnel. You are on a fixed track and basically move left and right to dodge obstacles and collect rings. They're pretty simple. They're not the best but they are still rather fun.
The game's story is crap. The writing is more Sonic Lost World than it is Sonic Boom Cartoon and there's only 3 full CGI cutscenes in game. The rest are just the in game models standing around talking with a floating speech bubble like most other portable sonic games. Shadow isn't given much purpose in the game which is a shame. He shows up for about 5 seconds then disappears and then (Spoiler) reappears at the end to save the day. But he was still pretty awesome .
I do have a few complaints with the game though. First of all is how you progress. It only effected me once because of how I played but was confusing at the time. Each Large Level in the game has 5 missions and the Worm Tunnels and Races have 3 missions. In the large levels the 5 missions are Complete The Stage, Time attack, Finish with a certain number of rings, collect all the crystal shards and collect all the blueprints whilst the worm tunnels and races just have those first 3 missions. In order to progress through the game you need to collect emblems. You obtain emblems when you complete the stage so it seems fairly straight forward at first. So i was just playing through each level at first and thought "When I unlock all the characters I'll go back to the first stage and start 100% each level". I got Sonic, I got Tails, I got sticks. All that was left was knuckles but I reached stage 5 and it said I needed 5 Emblems. I had 4. There was no other stages around. So I was wandering around the map looking for this missing 5 level. Turns out the emblems are awarded for certain other missions. There is indication of this as next to the missions it shows the outline of either an emblem or a token but it's not clear at all at first. This had me confused for a while and I just found it annoying.
