Ranger 1 here. This is more just to catalogue things than it is to actually work through my backlog (ever the accountant, I guess), but I do have some vague goals in that regard. As of right now this is how things stand:

Which isn't bad; 51.03% of games beaten all time (of the ones that can be "beaten" anyway).

So it's a new year. Let's see where we are, shall we?

Not terrible. A bit less progress than I would've liked overall, but decent. I'm up to 55.77% of games beaten.

Less progress than last year, and in fact we went backwards a little bit. This is unfortunate, but we did play some rather long games in 2019. Hopefully we'll do a bit better in the new year.

A similar rate of beating games, but more gifted acquisitions leads to the most negative progress I've had. A lot of time spent playing Football Manager and Smash Ultimate put a damper on my finishing games. Hopefully I'll do a little better in the coming year.

As per usual the Christmas deluge of free games from friends sank my hopes of shrinking my backlog despite a brief moment where I had for

, but this was also a pretty light year in terms of playing games. Hundreds of hours on games you've already beaten will do that. I think I've got some low-hanging fruit to start next year though, and I'm in a little bit of a groove, so who knows. Maybe this year is the year I make progress.

A pretty good year as far as the backlog is concerned. Relatively few games added, and an end of year push saw a fair number of games completed. Little by little we whittle and whittle. Here's to another year of progress.

Only one title knocked off my backlog this year, unfortunately. Other people gifting me quite a number of games this year is the culprit, as usual, but I also slowed down in playing a lot towards the end of the year. Ah well. There's always next year.
