Yeah, linking the Mario Tennis games was great. Though I think people stopped wanting to play with me because I had this super awesome character that trumped everything. But it was a great way to get EXP for your character in the GBC game. I actually wish you could do the same thing in the Pokemon games earning EXP in the Stadium Battles.

I sold most of the NES Bible games when I was younger. My Mom told me I had to sell all my NES stuff to get a SNES. So at our garage sale a lady tricked my poor little kid mind with math and ripped me off on half of my games. In the end all of my NES games but the Bible Buffet one were sold and no one bought the system. I ended up getting to keep the system anyway when I got an SNES ironically. I had some sweet old Disney games back when they were good.

I still think it's hilarious that the Noah's Ark SNES game was a clone of Wolfenstein 3D. Back when I used to want to make games I had a whole lineup of awesome Bible games I wanted to make. They would have been 10 times better than anything made today. Most Christian games are an insult to gaming AND to God I think. Some of them downright frighten me.

Aww, now I'm thinking of all the old games I had notes and design docs for. I even had a studio name. Raptor Productions. My flagship game was going to be a platformer/brawler similar to Donkey Kong Country and River City Ransom except staring a mother Raptor looking for her stolen eggs. Now I want to go back into game development. I wonder if I still have those files on my computer...

Wow that's a lot of games!

I'll have to check on the Mario Tennis completion. I might have just remembered it wrong. I know I did play it to death and liberally used the GB-N64 Transfer Pack.

I give out stars based on my enjoyment of the game. So even if a game is flawed, I'll give it 4 stars if I really had fun with it. I treat it a bit differently from if it were a 10 point system.

I saw AVGN's Bible edition. I used to own all of those NES Wisdom Tree games. Spiritual Warfare was indeed the best of the bunch. Bible Buffet was an interesting concept because of the board game/adventure hybrid gameplay just executed oddly. The Exodus and Joshua games were alright as well from a gameplay standpoint if I can remember correctly.
