A bit about me here I think. I'm Kai, 24 from the good old East Midlands and, as you can probably guess, play games rather a lot. For the most part they're rhythm/music games such as DDR/ITG, Pump It Up, IIDX and Jubeat, and in that genre I've made a bit of a name for myself under the (old) alias K-Dogg. Unfortunately I never got much of a chance to play the older consoles of the 90's as until the PS1 came out I only ever had an Amiga, however over the years I've been fortunate enough to meet some awesome people, also into retro gaming, who've been more than able to get me up to speed.
I'm gonna wrap this up now and update when I can think of more to say
So, to me, having to learn a song pattern before being able to get a passing grade is something new to me. X3 It kinda feels like the 'having a seizure' approach is the -only- way to play a Jukebeat song for the first time!
That said, I've just found that you can change the icon graphics, and I'm having a much easier time with songs with the ten-second-clock icon enabled instead of the default 'touch!' icon. I can do alright on easy mode now, but... difficult is still a little too much for me to immediately grasp. Still, I guess it's something I can get used to over time!
