In games like DDR, I've always been the kinda person who plays 'by feel'... for me it was always fun to, y'know, pick any song on the 'normal' or 'difficult' difficulties and just kinda freestyle, have fun, and be able to get a good score on a first attempt at a song. ^^ I've never much liked the 'play on expert, look like you're having a seizure while grabbing the bar and rapid-stamping the floor' approach.

So, to me, having to learn a song pattern before being able to get a passing grade is something new to me. X3 It kinda feels like the 'having a seizure' approach is the -only- way to play a Jukebeat song for the first time!

That said, I've just found that you can change the icon graphics, and I'm having a much easier time with songs with the ten-second-clock icon enabled instead of the default 'touch!' icon. I can do alright on easy mode now, but... difficult is still a little too much for me to immediately grasp. Still, I guess it's something I can get used to over time!

I just got Jukebeat on iPad today... that game is HARD!

It seems more like a memory game than a rhythm game... I tried a song on expert just out of curiosity, and I couldn't follow what was going on at all!
