RBO was awesome. Wonder if there's any way for us to play it, like Hamachi or something. I've actually tried to buy the game before, but it doesn't seem that anywhere sells it and is willing to ship to the US.

I'm also good with Hard Corps or Trine 2. Send me a text or something if you get a chance to use the TV tonight. If not, what nights are good? I'll try and get skype set up on my phone in the meantime.

Reminds me of Ys/falcom sound team. So yeah, pretty great stuff! I'm curious about the Etrian Odyssey games, but they seem kind of grindy for my taste.

Gonna add your new PSN account. Looked up a bunch of PSN games... there's not a whole lot that have online co-op. But we could do:

Castle Crashers (beat em up - it's really fun),
Renegade Ops (twin stick shooter),
Trine 2 (puzzle-platformer, you don't need to have played Trine 1),
the TMNT or X-Men arcade games,
Gunstar Heroes,
Hard Corps Uprising (a contra-esque game developed by arcsys),
Beat Hazard (music-based shmup)

What do you think? You available on sunday to play one of them?

Gotcha. gotta say, wndr looks cooler anyway, and it's probably less likely to be taken.

Nah, don't skip Demon's Souls. They're different enough games that you'd want to play them both. Dark Souls improves on Demon's in a few ways, mechanically speaking, but the atmosphere, bosses, and characters are better in Demon's. Also, Dark Souls tends to be unnecessarily cruel at times... moreso than Demon's. I'll buy ya a copy as a christmas present/thanks for loaning me your PSP.

Yeah, I like Hamauzu's stuff. I feel like his music's got a lot of layers to it - like, it holds up well to repeated listenings, and I find different parts of the songs to appreciate every once in a while. Have you heard "Vielen Dank"? Fantastic album.

Speaking of video game music... you have a DS, right? You really need to check out Ghost Trick. It's by the Ace Attorney team, but it plays very differently, and it's more focused on character development, and the animation is just incredible. Great soundtrack, too:
