Yeah I loved Ni No Kuni 1 more, but II was alright. It was good but not great, fun but not enjoyable if that makes sense.

I'd definitely recommend it but look up some tips and tricks beforehand. The guide at GameFAQs by Yushiro gives you a lot of very good pointers! The game expects you to figure things out on your own but sometimes you need a little guidance.

Otherwise, I'd recommend the PSP version with the translation patch because it speeds up walking and battling. I enjoy the battling system. It's kinda like Phantasy Star IV's and FF12's battle system. You need to strategize a little your battles.

The PSP port I played on easy but it was still challenging. So I'd recommend that. You still need to be engaged with the battles and the DRPG aspects without having to restart battles. But you can save anywhere, so no problem!

How's Parasite Eve 2 been? Never played it but see it's on the PSN so I could download it for my PS3 if I want.

Congrats on beating the second Ori title! I am not surprised that it’s another wonderful installment to the series. Definitely a heart wrenching game, at least the first one is. I’ll take your word on the sequel also being on the sad side.

I’ll probably start the second after I finish with Salt and Sanctuary, which I am loving so far. Excited to play Ori 2!

Ooh, Ori sequel! I beat the first a few months ago and loved it. I was going to start the sequel this weekend but ended up discovering Salt and Sanctuary. How’s the sequel compared to the first?

That is what I was thinking, since it is somewhat still fresh in my memory. I started Claire’s B Scenario but didn’t get too far. Trying to do the run with minimal saves and much, much faster than 10 hours. Will probably have to start over.

Currently, Metroid Dread has stolen my attention back. I was stuck for a little while but not anymore!
