Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
I considered as beating the boss that appears right after you collect 20,000 rm (I think it's that), since that rolls the credits. For I'll at least unlock all the characters, kill every quest boss, and clear every song on Ultimate. CollectaCards are technically a requirement for 100%, but since they're random drops I might just give up and call them inessential.

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
Yeah the last season just ended and it seems we're pretty much caught up with the books at this point, so I don't know how they're going to stretch the last two pending books out across 3+ seasons, unless a lot is going to happen still, haha. But it might be a good idea to wait like you said, at least until the hype dies down.

Oh yeah, I was always kind of interested in Radiant Historia, but I never got around to it for whatever reason. You would think I would like it, what with Atlus + time travel + Yoko Shimomura, but I never tried it. Maybe because it went out of print pretty fast on its first run. Let me know how you like it though.

I'm kind of interested in how incredibly positive of a reception Splatoon has gotten, actually! I'm really not a fan of online multiplayer AT ALL, especially shooters, but it seems like pretty much everyone likes Splatoon regardless.

Yup, it's definitely gonna be a lot to deal with, but I'm sure the end result will be worth it. Thanks for your support!

Herald of Bak'laag: 500+ unfinished games
It's nothing major, thankfully! I mean there are still some more tests I need to run eventually, but I don't think it should be anything major. I've played all three of the games you mentioned actually! Well except for Season 2 of The Walking Dead, I own it, but I still haven't gotten around to that one. All three are great, I agree. For myself, I'm really enjoying Tales of Hearts R and Portrait of Ruin. Hearts R has just really tight pacing for an RPG, making it a treat to play. Whereas Portrait of Ruin is just a lot of fun. I'm reading through Higurashi and it's also very nice. If you don't mind a pure visual novel (no choices, you just read), and horror, it's pretty great~ Mind you, the beginning takes awhile to get going (although I kind of liked the everyday hijinks too), and this is only part 1 of 8 chapters (plus some extra ones that MangaGamer licensed for the steam release, although those are more like sidestories from what I hear). The downside is it is taking MangaGamer quite a lot of time to get each chapter out. They just put out the first one recently and are only like 30% complete translating the second chapter according to their site. So it will be quite a few months before we get the second chapter, let alone the complete story. I haven't played much Splatoon, but it is quite fun. My only problem is I'm having trouble getting used to the controls.

Cool, let me know what you think of the other PWs when you get around to them! It's actually been a while since I've played them, so maybe a replay marathon is in my future...

Oh man, that last trial was so good! I'm glad it kept the Layton tradition of turning the entire story on its head at the end, and facing off against Layton was a real treat.

Yeah, I recently started Fez, several years late to the party. It's good, just...really mind-bending. I doubt I'll be able to get 100% without a guide, that's for sure.

Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
Focus: Only playing one game
Yes! Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an amazing game! I lost count how much time I played through it (currently playing through it with my sister) and it is always a blast. To me it is as perfect as a game gets.

I am very much enjoying Splatoon! I've been having trouble making time for it but I am going to try to play more tonight when i get home from work. I am also not very big into online games but Splatoon hooked me! It's just so much fun.

How're you enjoying Radiant Historia? That's one I've been meaning to pick up for quite some time.

Thanks for the add! May I ask why you decided to add me?

Mhm, it's really more about the character interactions and political intrigue, so you should be able to enjoy it regardless. But it seems like most people just watch it for the shocking swerves which happen (usually) at the end of each season. It's probably better to wait until it's done anyway since there are literally hundreds of characters, so it's quite easy to forget who someone is with a nearly 10-month break between seasons.

Yeah, I was kind of concerned with the size of your list, haha! But that's probably nice too, you have dozens if not hundreds of different titles to choose from whenever you want, and depending on your mood.

Cool! It's weird though, it seems everyone liked the first episode of Life is Strange too except me. And I'm not totally averse to school drama stuff, I just didn't particularly care for any of the characters, and thought the dialogue was rather bad. But it's probably worth giving another shot, when it inevitably goes on sale. Tales of the Borderlands is really fantastic though (as someone who wasn't a fan of BL1, at least), I definitely think you'll enjoy it!

Nice, I've heard good things about pretty much all of those! The Last Story starts off very slowly (IMO), but becomes pretty entertaining by around the halfway point. I really enjoyed Hotel Dusk too, that's probably the standout of your list to me. I've heard Flower, Sun and Rain is supposed to be good if you can get past the awful gameplay, which I couldn't unfortunately.

Yeah, I start school in early July, and my time is definitely going to be pretty limited after that point. But I'm sure I'll still be able to make some time for extracurriculars, so we'll just have to see how it goes!

Herald of Bak'laag: 500+ unfinished games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Sleep: Not playing anything
I'm thinking about starting Dragon Age, but other than that just whatever comes to mind really. And going to watch all of Orange is the New Black again, I literally just finished it and I'm already having withdrawals

I'm loving Layton vs. Wright so far! The puzzles are solid (although I agree, they're often a bit easy), and the court cases feel really unique in a fantasy setting. I'm hoping the rest of the game is just as good!

And yeah, I highly recommend the other PWs if you liked this one! They're really well-written and some of my favorite games on the original DS.
