I love them so much! Been a fan since before Justice For All was released! It just surprised me that I never got around to playing AAI though, just so many games on the backlog.

And your thoughts on the series? Positive, I assume!

I try to follow the guidelines set by the site admins for , and . So for I have to see the end credits. For I need to get all collectables and major items and see all endings, as well as play through on the hardest difficulty and do all achievements. Though there are always exceptions. For some games I feel the hardest difficulty is mastery material in itself (Shmups tend to be this) as well as certain achievements. (Mr. Perfect in MM9 comes to mind) Same for endings and items. But the users are free to define , and as it suits them as well.

I'm hoping I can stick with them. I want to finally make progress. Really I am just trying to focus on beating new games as I get them and working on the systems that have the most . The monthly goals are really to break it into smaller chunks. I found that I would stare at my total count and just be at a loss as to where to start, or get very easily distracted. The goals help give me some focus.

Your theme does remind me that I do need to go back and finish FFIV at some point. I am close to the end, just need to get the last eidolon and then go to the final boss, but my party is a bit under leveled and I got bored with grinding.

And I do agree with you on the thing. It really should be for adding additional difficulty beyond what the normal game supplies. Things like speed runs, minimalist runs, single character runs (for party based RPGs), ect.. are what I would consider
