☆☆★★★ I went into this game thinking it was easy to complete. Then I encountered the ball controls and inertia problems. Later, I met the bosses: Dedede -> "Not bad" Kracko -> "Kinda hard breakout but not too much" Paint roller -> "NEVER DO THIS WITH A MOUSE" After struggling with them, I was able to beat the final boss. But then I saw that I've missed a TON of medals, so I went back to collect them and got stuck on 99% dut to THAT level which requires god-li

I believe I've done that, if you're willing to stretch the definition of a cooking game a bit. If BurgerTime doesn't count, then I've played Short Order/Eggsplode at my sister's house. The Short Order side is a Power Pad game in which you jump on certain numbers to add certain things to the burger that you're making for a customer. So, if someone wants a cheeseburger, you jump on the burger numbers, then the cheese numbers. It's a bizarre premise that's surprisingly fun. I've tried Cooking Mama, but I'm not a huge fan, and most of the other cooking games that come to mind are in Japanese, which I can't even read. For me, I think it'd be the same as my sister playing Guitar Hero. She's a damn genius musician - she was playing Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall within an hour of getting her first guitar - but since she plays an actual guitar, she doesn't enjoy Guitar Hero, and actually isn't even very good at it. Though I do love food-themed games (Panic Restaurant ), I think it'd probably be the same for me.

I'm not sure how many games I've played that came out this year, since I usually don't buy new stuff; I almost always wait for it to go on sale and pick it up then. I know >observer_ came out this year, which I would highly recommend, if you like cyberpunk and/or long, surreal mind trips that make you forget that there's an actual reality to which you need to return. Hollow Knight is definitely on my radar; I enjoy Platventures to begin with, and the artwork reminds me of an album cover from my favorite band, The Birthday Massacre. Cuphead seems neat, but probably something I'd pick up when it gets a little cheaper; I think it'll be fun, but not something I need to play. As for Sonic Mania, the more I see of it, the less interested I am; there's just not enough new content to justify my shelling out $20, when I can grab a plethora of Sonic 2 hacks for free.

Hey, you too, and if you ever need me to duck your backlog's head further underwater with some hidden gems, just hit me up anytime!

Playing games for 30 years with OCD and not much of a social life is how; not sure that's a great trade-off. The only thing I enjoy more is cooking, but you can only do so much of that, so more time is spent on games. 30 years ago, they were a nice escape from a soul-crushing reality, and now, they've just been such a part of my life for so long that it stuck with me. This is actually my third round of ing everything since I've been on this site; I have a bit of a binge-and-purge style. Once I finish these last 26, I'll probably add a giant pile more to my collection again. I suppose another thing that helps is that if I don't like I game, I just abandon it; they're supposed to be fun, so if I'm having a bad time with it, there's no sense in pushing myself to the end, unless there's a better sequel ahead, or I'm playing it as a sort of required reading, so to speak. Or if I lost a bet, but after my Kingdom Hearts fiasco, I got a lot smarter about not betting things like that.

Sonic Mania is really fun, I'd go as far as to call it the best 2D Sonic game of all time. It takes everything good about 1, 2, CD, 3 & Knuckles and combines them together into one amazing game. Sorry about the delay, i'm wondering what they added to delay the game.

Yep I will complete Breath of the Wild, I really like completing games because its fun to me, also from what i've heard most people prefer crash 2 over the others surprisingly. I didn't find Crash 1 bad but from the little I've played of Crash 2 I liked it a lot.

Welp I finally did it with Crash 1, I managed to get all the Platinum and Gold relics including on Stormy Ascent. Stormy Ascent was especially hard but I managed to get a platinum relic just barely, also I found out that supposedly to get 105% you have to avoid fighting cortex until after you've beaten all the extra levels.

Nah, games are for fun right? I have a bad habit of trying to min-max/completionist any game I play, but this one is so huge I think you are right, gonna just take it casually and not stress it.

And thanks! Animated it myself.

Thanks, Crash 1 is an N Sanely hard game.
Like I said those Platinum Relics feel impossible, but the main problem for me is getting to the end without dying, that's pretty tough, and the fact I have to do it very fast too is worse.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just looked up the soundtrack and am giving it a skim. Pretty nice! Always fun to hear the variety of styles in these games.

Unfortunately my copy of Mega Man 8 is scratched, and doesn't let me play past the first four stages I've got a device to fix it, but haven't tried it yet. I suppose I'll give it a go... but I also intend to get the Legacy Collection sometime, so I may end up just playing the game through that if this doesn't work out.

I suppose that's an anomaly in the way I list my games. I randomise what I'm going to play so all games have an equal chance of being booted up. However, as I have so many games there are still quite a few that haven't come up to be played yet and are marked as such.

Haha, most of the games in my "now playing" list I haven't touched in years I mostly have them there to remind me of their existence... but it doesn't quite work a lot of the time. But yeah, I do own a lot of consoles, and a lot of games for said consoles; it's pretty fun to go through them. Thank you
Don't critisize the amount of games I own and haven't played. It's an investement.
