Aha, thank you for all of that information, and the tap! I'm Canadian so things are a bit less "Dealy" if you will on certain things (With higher prices, etc). But I've at least gotten a general idea what I'm up against as I continue to build my collection.

Hey! You probably don't know me 100%, but I have tapped you a while back given you have same tastes in gaming than that of mine.

I noticed you just picked up a handful of Lego Dimensions packs coupled with some Skylanders games. Nice to see somebody else who has interest in the Toys-to-Life genre. Shame though that those games are discontinued and you can barely, barely find them in stores. But I'm trying to get back to them.

However, how the flying heck do people ever get figures nowadays? Amazon? Letgo? Sometimes I see them at the dollar store even. But what's your opinion? What do you think is the best way to collect figures at this time? I had the idea of using Letgo next Spring, unless you have other ideas. I mean I was so connected with these games for nearly five years, and I want to keep the collection going!

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
Focus: Only playing one game
Well, I've put 250 hours into Borderlands, 400 hours into Borderlands 2, 150 hours into The Pre-Sequel, and I've played through Tales from the Borderlands four times. You, uh, could say that I'm a bit of a fan of the series.

With the first game, it feels like Gearbox was dipping their toes in the water and figuring out what worked and what didn't. Then they used that information to refine the process and make a much better game in Borderlands 2. It's a pretty big leap from the first game to the second, so I can understand why some folks would find it jarring and prefer the first game. (Not me, though. Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games.)

The Pre-Sequel was good, but it's not on the same level as the other two, in my opinion. Going from Borderlands to Borderlands 2 feels like a huge leap forward, but going from Borderlands 2 to the Pre-Sequel feels like a short hop to the side. Sure, it's fun and perfectly enjoyable, but it kind of feels like you're just playing Borderlands 2 again. To its credit, though, The Pre-Sequel does have the best final boss fight of the three games. Look forward to that.

Enjoy the rest of your romp through Pandora!

That's funny! There's nothing that propelled me into playing it; it just so happened to be chosen by the fortune cookie, since that's what I'm doing for all 3DO games.

Awesome! I'd totally be down for replaying the game after that content drop happens.

No problem! I love supporting smaller indie projects like this. If you're ever involved in any other games, you know who to tell about it.

That's exactly what I liked most about it! The television theme of each world was a neat idea, though I think the actual theming of it could have been handled better, after the first world. The way levels are designed around Gex's ability to climb made for some interesting stages, until it just got a bit repetitive. I played Gex 2 when I was younger, and don't remember too much of it, other than I enjoyed it back then, but even the first game has its camera issues... it's always way too up close. You're constantly either jumping straight down on enemies or death pits. Once I reached the final boss, I couldn't believe that the game suddenly started making different use of the camera, zooming in and out. Why couldn't the camera act like that before?! Maybe the limits of the 3DO hardware wouldn't allow for that in a full sized stage.

Midnight Ultra looks really interesting! Its aesthetic almost looks like it were going for a Game Boy-style look. I'll give it a buy soon! What parts of the art did you do for it?

EDIT: I just bought and played through it, and really enjoyed it, despite some problems. I'm not sure if it's just me, but pausing and unpausing the game results in my mouse appearing on the screen, without a way to get it off. The enemy AI is pretty hilarious at times too. Other than that, I found it to be a really stylish, fun, short FPS. Whatever part of the art you did was really well done. I liked everything about the visuals, and especially how you unlock different themed color schemes once you beat the game.

That boss at the end kicked my ass... until I realized the revolver is pretty OP compared to the other two.

Definitely get the PC version of Enemy Zero! It has two exclusive enemies, as well as a compass on screen during the combat areas that makes navigation a bit easier, and it's really simple to get it running on Windows 10. D2 does seem to be going up, sadly. I'd pick it up sooner than later for sure.

For the US PS1 version? I've never actually seen a jewel case release of it, only longbox. Even checking Ebay, only longboxes show up. Must be pretty uncommon. The PS1 version is my least favorite, due to the FMV quality being slightly worse (until the Complete Graphics version came out) and it might just be me, but it seems like the slowest version. 3DO is my favorite for the Director's Cut which had a bunch of extra scenes thrown in, a novel, a soundtrack minidisc, and even a D2 M2 teaser trailer.

I used to listen to quite a bit of the Insert Credit Show, and I know Tim Rogers was the creator of Videoball. I might have to get it, maybe when it's on sale.
