Thanks

As a whole, it wasn't TOO hard, but I have to assume having played FX Pinball on PSVR actually helped out some. Long ago, when we went to a family friends' for New Years Eve when I was a kid (probably pre 2000), they had Sonic Spinball (as well as a PS1 I think, and a few other Genesis games that I forget). I don't think I was ever able to get past Lava Powerhouse back then, probably because I most likely couldn't get those precise jumps off the Clucks down.

All the bosses were fairly easy and took less than 2 minutes, barring Robotnik, who took probably 5-10? The main challenge in the game, like Sonic 3D Blast, was chiefly the controls. Even when Sonic was on solid ground, and you tried to jump, the jump didn't even do what you wanted it to half the time.

The game is okay, but the levels so far seem kinda simple from what I've played. The first world only seemed to have three or four main collectibles, one of them being Donkey Kong Country styled LUCKY letters. I'm hoping that it was just a tutorial level, because it only had one main objective and the whole thing only took me maybe 5-10 minutes. There are apparently 117 clovers, so maybe later levels do get more in depth. From what I've played of the second level though (it's 2D platforming as opposed to 3D platforming ala Banjo Kazooie), I wonder when and where all the collectibles come in, because it seemed to be pretty linear. The game generally is decent fun, though.

The controls for the 2D platforming don't feel all that precise to me. Maybe it's just because I was using the control stick as opposed to the dpad, but I wasted like 2-3 lives because I'd jump to a platform, but undershoot it by a few pixels and die. It feels like there's a bit of control issues, because I'm pretty sure I should have landed on the platform. Again, maybe this is just because I'm using the stick instead of the dpad, and I've always been a bit squirrely on 2D platformers using the stick
Does anyone even come all the way down here?
