Added some games from Famicom/NES library that comes with the Switch online subscription. They are tied to the subscription so don't feel like I fully "own" them so thus the little coin tag. For similar reason, marking them all Null (many are naturally Null anyway tho) as it is just to show what stuff I'm into.

While I wish there was a Virtual Console instead, playing these titles have been a blast.

Hot damn... I still want to give X7 a fair shot and play X8 again. Couldn't get into them right after playing the first six back to back, but I'll check those two out again someday. Axl definitely sucks. At least the voices got better in X8, what I heard in X7 was atrocious. Oh wait... can you maybe play these in Japanese with English subs? Since this collection lets you change up the region. Funny note on that, I noticed the Japanese X4 voices are actually more masculine than the ones we got haha.

I tried out Command Mission last year. I wanted to like it, I really dig the art design and all that, but the entire game basically being hallways... man oh man, lol. I ended up just watching Kyle Bosman's playthrough from Easy Allies, if you know of them. I finally played the Legends games again a year or two ago though and they hold up awesomely. I have Tron Bonne on my PS3 to play eventually. I definitely would have taken Legends 3 over Command Mission. lol

The Gate levels freaking rock though... I love them. Gate seems like the most competent villain of them all, making his own lab spike city haha. Can't even hurt him with your own weapons. Dude was better than Sigma. Also one of my favorite themes/remixes in the series: [Link]

I haven't put much time into MM11 but I beat it on normal once so far. Overall pretty damn happy with it. The music could be a little better though and the back half seems a bit short. Also weird that Proto Man and Bass are MIA... I hope it does well and we get 12 with them back and more of this formula. I loved how the difficulty was still pretty tough on normal.

Nice write up on HnK Yakuza. It's been good to know before going into it that it doesn't really follow the manga/anime, which is disappointing. The Musou game seemed like it would follow the story closely but those games bore me after like... mission 1 or 2. Anyways yeah, I'm sure HnK Yakuza will be some goofy fun with that gameplay in that cool setting.

I'm hoping Kiwami 2 will wash 6 away a bit. To be honest I kind of want to pretend 6 never happened... what they did to Haruka... that really empty boring seaside town... most new characters sucked (great villains though)... and the ending just didn't sit well with me, it was like they couldn't commit to the idea fully and just went for something miserable for all parties in the story. But it's Yakuza, I could see them retconning it easily if they ever get back to Kiryu. lol, other than knocking out Kiwami 2 I'll just need to play 5 then. Kind of went out of order a bit but it worked out for the most part.

Yeah I love the hell out of all 2D CV. I actually don't love the NES games though, but I'm real big on Super IV, Bloodlines, Rondo of Blood, and I think Chronicles is overlooked. For the Metroidvania side I love SoTN, Circle, Portrait, and Order the most.

Might give The Messenger a shot. I'm real picky about these retro indies, but pixels are the way to my heart. Shovel Knight, Axiom Verge, and Momodora: Reverie are some of my favorites so far.

I like how Dynamo returns in X6 but is like a joke haha. Vile is definitely the coolest to the point that I wish he could have overtaken Sigma at some point. Bass is cool but I like Vile even more than him too, they're similar roles I guess. I don't love Vile's green look in X8, the purple is the best, but it's always good to have him back. Hopefully if we get an X9 he'll return hehe.

It does always crack me up how in the early games Zero is bossing you around and low rank X is the workhorse doing everything. Sure Zero... go "scout around".

I forget if you dig Castlevania? Bloodstained Curse of the Moon was incredible and I'm pumped for Ritual of the Night. Way way more promising than Mighty No 9, lmao.

Stoked for Kiwami 2 and I hope the Fist of the Northstar game sells well too. I'll just need to beat Kiwami 2 and then get to 5, then I'll have the Yakuza series completed!
