Yes, A Link between Worlds is a lot more fun (to me) than A Link to the Past, I'm quite happy with it!

Online friends that become real friends sounds like a fairytale to me, but it's nice it's a true story for you! I've heard that the twitch community is a very positive one, though, so I'm happy you're getting all the good vibes from there!

Oh yeah, I have a bad backlog with my boardgames collection, too! There are so many game that have a campaign that I've never even played yet, it's incredible. But I'm slowly tackling it, playing Batman - Gotham City Chronicles with a fixed group of friends now, having lots of fun with them. We are stuck at a Mr. Freeze Scenario right now, but it just gives us the chance to use all the bad puns from the Batman & Robin movie!

Arkham Horror is my favourite series of boardgames, I'm in love with the 2nd Edition Boardgame and I've tried the card game, as you can see, and like it as well! I also need a fixed group to play that, though, and I hope to be able to find one too. Luckily, many people in my group of friends play board- and cardgames, so I guess I'll find some if I search.

I have to put some of this on the back burner though, as I'll be in Korea in Spring and right now Corona is ravaging the lands, here. So... yeah... that sucks. More time for videogames... And work...

Found the picture of your boardgame collection! Wow, you also have some really nice ones (Mansion of Madness, Blood Rage, Legends of Andor, Arkham Horror) and some I definitely want to try at some point (Dead of Winter, Smallworld, Descent, 7th Continent). Good luck finding the time to play them!

I absolutely LOVED Doki Doki! I wish that one would have won! I am glad I played it though. I have the whole thing on my twitch (except the first 15 / 20 minutes).
I really like Crypt of the Necrodancer. I played it before, but never beat it. The game is pretty hard tbh. It is a lot of memorizing the enemies move and attack patterns.

Wow, things have changed a lot for you. I do see some of the stuff you post on Facebook, seem like you're been having fun. I've been pretty good, met a lot of cool new friends over the past few years. Sorry took me so long to respond, I guess I don't pay attention to Backloggery as much as I used to.

I remember really enjoying the 3 remake, so anything I can do to help others along.

The shutdown isn't until May 20th of this year. Plenty of time to get Onion Knight.

Well, whenever you do get back to it, there's a pretty good guide right here [Link] that I'd recommend using. There are two particular places that are great for power leveling, particularly if you plan on using the Dark Knight class to increase party wide HP. Ha, if you know a few people who have the game as well and want to overlevel to 90, could just get the Onion Knight class. :D

For FF3: It's been a while, but I recall having a team with at least two sorcerers with all the max level spells is key to beating the final boss easily. I recall being slightly below the recommended level and not having a problem. Two sorcerers to nuke (as the other magic classes, such as the summoner, technically do a hair more damage, but each high level summon has less charges than the weakest master level black magic spell, so you get more bang for your buck ditching the summoner), one Dragoon/Lancer (whatever the game calls them) with twin blood lances (again, sacrificing a technical damage boost for increased survivability) and one of whatever the best healer class is called. Pretty easy, provided you didn't spend too much time at the lower levels as a scholar (they have great support abilities, but the way they're stats stack, you actually end up with weaker characters in the long run using the class outside of the one battle where it's advantageous to have the whole party as scholars).

A little late, but 5 years!!! Hope you and your baby have done well over the past year.

Well, when compared to Yoshi's Island (or, really, any game of this type), Yoshi's Story is rather lacking in hidden crap. It's there, oh yes, but it's not as satisfying to find. It's all pretty much standard stuff, really. Find all story paths, obtain max score in each level, obtain melon only clear on each level, final all hidden coin messages and unlock Black Yoshi and White Yoshi.
