Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith
I've now started level 5. I think I may have broken it. Could be an OpenJKDF2 issue. Might be that I'm just missing something.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Part way into world 3. Glimmer's Galleon is my least favorite level in the game so far.

I kind of expected this game was getting overhyped but so far I was maybe wrong.
This *could* become one of my favorite platformers once I'm done with it...
Only level I *don't* like so far is Glimmer's Galleon, for being a water level that overstays its welcome with annoying to dodge enemies and a gimmick that long-term is more annoying than fun, even if it starts out fun. And even that level isn't awful.
GBA
Sonic Advance 3
Been playing this for a while now actually I just forgot to add it to my backloggery before. I forget exactly where I am.

I mean I like the concepts of it but the cheap shots really do kinda suck. would give 3 and a half stars if possible.
Switch
Thumper
Beat the second level. I know for sure I've played past this before, but for some reason my save was only on it...?... Ah well.

How do I even describe what brilliance this game is I'm not even gonna try tbh
Very unique game feel though, play well and you feel awesome yet still feel something is very off in the background, play poorly and the sound design makes it feel more like you're fighting for your life and you start to remember why it still feels so off when you're playing well.
Wii
Sonic Colors
Fairly sure I've 100%'d the game before, but I'm doing it again to be sure

No, it's not perfect, but if you slow down a bit and focus on score it's a lot more fun.
PC
The Ur-Quan Masters (Star Control 2)
...how.... how is one supposed to report progress on a game with no easily-defined concept *of* progress...?

In premise, it's a game about some humans finding their way back to Earth after being stranded in space, and catching back up on what's happened. Before being stranded there was galactic war, and you haven't heard whether or not it's ended yet.
And without saying what happens next, the first major plot twist happens, for most players, less than an hour in.
The result is a game that's part alien talking sim, part taking notes on all the info it gives you. Lots of fun! But not quite perfect.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Finished the sixth campaign level in co-op (...and realized that I was way behind updating my progress here)

Eh, level design isn't like, perfect here, but I'm kinda having a fun time with large open areas and the large variety of weapons and how busted a few of those specific weapons are. Vehicle steering is a bit too janky for my taste, for a gripe that actually probably knocks things down a notch for me more than the level design.

Descent 2
Cleared level 8 via D2X-Rebirth, trainee mode, thief disabled.

It's possible I'll feel differently about it by the time I'm done with it but what I played was an improvement over Descent 1 in almost every way bar the atmosphere. A boss every 4 levels, an almost *completely* new enemy roster, some incredibly fun weapons, the headlight mechanic. Heck I even like the Thiefbot even if I'm glad source ports let you remove it, since it can get a bit tedious after a few levels.

Weapon customization is too much fun in this thing. The battle against Aviator *rules*. The Capitol Building is a fun stage with a *really* creative boss. I have a few smaller gripes with some of the levels, but... honestly? This is amazing so far. I'll probably re-assess this on repeat playthroughs, or maybe even by the end of this one, but... *gives 5 stars*
