Hey, Hannah!

I was taking a look at my multitap and realized we haven't talked in a long time. Just thought I'd rectify that.

How have you been lately? Glad to see that you're still plugging away at the old backlog. You've beaten a lot of games this year! I'd like to end 2018 with a positive progress index, but I'm not holding my breath.

Are you looking forward to any games set to release by the holiday season?

Wow, you have lots of games! And lots of buddies. You wouldn’t mind one more, right? We seem to have similar taste in games and I enjoyed your thoughts on quite a few! I was a bit on the fence about Ni no Kuni II, but I believe that will be my next purchase.
Happy gaming to you!

Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
I enjoyed it so much, I did two back-to-back playthroughs and wasn't bored for a second. I loved it so much.

And YES, Hank/Connor were the best duo. The way their relationship grows is outstanding. Though in both of my playthroughs I have not found a way to have their story be perfect. In one I got really close, but didn't get him to warm up enough to tell me his son's name, and in the other, he hated me so much he fought me at the very end.

Sorry, this is waaaay overdue, my life recently has been work, sleep, and Monster Hunter. Hope things have been going well for you~

There are a fair few Vita VNs coming out this year, too - Edo Blossoms and Future Blessings next month, and I think the Psychedelica duo are due out this year somewhen too. I'll buy any game physically on Vita first and foremost, but it seems like physical copies of games are going more towards the Switch now for a handheld option...at least, I think games like Lost Child and Song of Memories are going to be the start of a new trend there. I just cannot abide playing a VN on a TV screen; I like curling up with a VN the same way I would a book! The PSN sales are nice, but you get long periods of utter garbage, which is depressing...or games you already own in physical format, haha. Given how long the PSP lasted I have hopes the Vita will keep going for a while yet though. The 3DS too, despite the loud cries on the internet for it to die. The Switch is not a replacement >.>

I'm very fond of the original Dragon Age too – much as I liked playing as an overly snarky Hawke, I can't really forgive what the second game did to Anders after he was so brilliant in Awakening, and Origins just had a more likeable cast. All I can honestly remember of the third game is Iron Bull. After Andromeda I'm a little worried a Dragon Age sequel will go the same way Mass Effect did with that, but I still love the series either way. I wish they'd make a sequel to Sonic Chronicles, though...

What do you think of World? I found the story highly intrusive and irritatingly banal, but once I pushed through that...yeah, it has me firmly hooked, much like Generations did before it. Looking forward to the updates though; it really needs more variety in it. I have so many complaints, but I can't stop playing it even so. I want that platinum. xD
Played any enjoyable RPGs recently? There's so much to choose from right now, and so much else coming out in the near-ish future.

Given the fuss that was made during that brief period Square Enix didn't localise any Dragon Quest titles, and the success of the ones they localised after that, I would have thought they'd want to capitalise on the interest...if they're looking into localising the Mana collection on the Switch and localise Romancing Saga 2 of all things, DQXI shouldn't be an issue for them. Although this IS Square Enix we're talking about here, so who knows. xD
