Hey man....just wanted to say that 3D Land is brilliant and my favorite Mario game along with Galaxy. Hope you enjoy it!

I did have a good Father's Day. The kids got me a photo book from when they were babies until now which brought a few tears to my eyes, and I also got The Witcher 3 (not bad for a second place gift - haha). I think I watched most of every press conference and a bunch of other coverage. No surprise, but my game of the show was Fallout 4. Horizon really impressed me as well. For Nintendo, I thought the SMT x Fire Emblem game looked awesome as did the new 3DS Fire Emblem. I'm also totally onboard with Xenoblade X. I thought the stuff I already knew about from Nintendo looked good, but the new announcements were incredibly underwhelming. I agree that Sony won, but I thought Microsoft had a good show as well. I suppose which you prefer depends mostly on what kind of games you want most. For Microsoft, I thought Recore and most of their indie games looked interesting, and Tomb Raider looked incredible. For Sony, I was most impressed with Uncharted 4, Horizon, and The Last Guardian. Funny thing is my most anticipated game, Persona 5, didn't even make an appearance.

It's still not too late to pick up that sweet Arkham Knight PS4! haha. So have you played Dream Drop Distance? Seems we are of the same mind on Birth by Sleep, but I have a feeling you might enjoy DDD while I could barely make it through to the end. I agree about Aqua. She was great. I just wished I would have played her last instead of first.

Man, what has happened to MyIGN? I checked it out the other week to see what others thought about the E3 conferences and it has turned into a wasteland? Speaking of wastelands, any interest in Fallout 4 yourself?

Valiant Hearts is divided into episodes on the iPod? The PS4 version has chapters, but is sold as just one title. I bought Freedom Wars as well mainly because it was only $15, but I really don't know if it is my kind of game or not. Guess there's only one way to find out. Whatever floats your boat, man. You certainly know your tastes better that I do. For me, they are just another take on the classic P&C adventure, so I think they would be right up my alley. Thankfully, I didn't spend much on them as I am feeling some buyers remorse over all of those Telltale adventure games I purchased. I really don't know when I am going to play them all, nor do I know if I really want to.

Funny, as I've been all about the PS4 and I haven't had a lot of luck when I've gone back to older games (outside of South Park). So was Asylum your first Arkham game? Some people like City the best, but the first is definitely my favorite. So are you liking Birth by Sleep? I would place it as my second favorite Kingdom Hearts game behind the original and I actually played through as all three characters.

I couldn't bring myself to continue my series either. There just wasn't a lot of interest. I think Hidden Emerald was the only one who consistently read my blogs, and I guess I just lost the desire to keep putting that much effort into something that people weren't paying attention to. I've done that before with a list. It gives you some kind of closure with minimal effort. If I make my way to IGN, I'll check out that blog but no promises. I haven't even been checking the main site as it seems so overloaded with television reviews. Looked briefly at your list, and you played a solid bunch of games last year. Your order is all wrong though. haha.

I've just spending a lot of time with each game I've played. I probably put over 100 hours into GTA V and I'm probably nearing 100 hours in Diablo III as well. I don't think I'm playing any less though. I do need to wrap up some of the stuff I'm playing though, as my Now Playing list looks a bit out of control.

There seems to be kind of disconnect between what I want to write on IGN and what others want to read, which is perfectly fine but I do feel like there are other outlets for my writing where I will get more feedback (though what and where these are, I really have no idea - haven't really thought this through, haha). Anyway, probably talk to you again in a couple of months!
