Congratz on the Master run of Turok! I used to LOVE that game back in the day. Like 15 years later, and my friend can still remember that long cheat code to unlock every weapon in the game lol!

I dont know much about anything before Nintendo either, hah! My grandma used to have Colecovision, but by the time I was old enough to remember anything she only had the joystick style controller left of it. :p

I think each game came with slide in cards (Like other Atari consoles, I think!) that attached to the number pad, and maybe they used the numbers..or were supposed to use the numbers..for different features in the game. I cant exactly remember. Maybe they were used for password entering. I am not sure. But I think alot of Atari game controllers had the number thing, but pre-jaguar it might've made more sense.

Cybermorph was amazing for the time, but my goodness. Now adays it looks horrible lol! [Link] Just simple polygons with terrible draw distance made up the game. And yet, I loved it. Probably the first true 3 dimensional style game I played!

Those .GIFs are indeed quite hypnotic! Whoever did this did a very good job. :D! That GCN controller really was a drastic change from things up to that point. But it all made sense in the end. Also yes, Nintendo changed ALOT more than the other two. The Playstation was neat because it stayed about the same, but moved around a bit in its own way. :3

I will have to ask him, then! He likes those actioney-action books alot of the time.

It was a tough pick between N64 and SNES because I loved them both so much as a kid. N64 is also more cheaper than SNES in terms of collecting. You can find games easy for 20-35 dollars, whereas one game I want for SNES, Kirby Dreamland 3, goes for at minimum 80$! Hopefully this demand dies down some, but I really did want the SNES regardless. Such a good system! I just bought Yoshi's Island for the SNES. My first SNES game I bought was one of the first I played way back then - Super Mario All stars! 4 games in one? Can't go wrong! It was that game, Super Mario World, and DKC that I played as a kid first. I intend to buy them all.

Both NES are nice and cleaned and working fine. They were dirty, too! I also had to re-bend the 72 pins to make sure the carts stuck nice and good. I have a small pile of games that came with the NES that I have to clean and try out. Right now all I started playing was the original Legend of Zelda. I went old school and am drawing a map out on paper as I go. Otherwise I would wander forever! Thanks for the recommends. I have a couple in my mind I want as well, but I appreciate any advice on other ones too!

Its fine about the SNES story thing, hoh. I just wanted to share because I was so excited! It really was a nice feeling to get back all these things I lost over time. I hate when that happens as well, when a long comment gets erased! Thats why when I type out these long replies, I do it in notepad. So many times I decided to do the opposite of that, and so many times a glitch or lag erased my comment. Then you just lose passion to write it up again. (Ah, to be a procrastinator!) At leas in a separate program, youre overall fine. (Unless your computer craps out!)

Some of my fave foods pokemon names I have: Ravioli the Rattata, Tortellini the Tododile, Quiche the Ekans, Sashimi the Goldeen, and the randomest: HotPocket the Hoothoot. I know some of these are based on their first evolution names, but eh. Its what came to mind! (and of course, we must name the Mareep 'Cottoncandy') And about the Battling Tamogatchi thing, I remember an old gaming magazine I had selling it as such.

Whoooa I didn't know the original LoZ was -that- hard. I had my hiccups with LttP, but LoZ sounds extreme! I am going to try it, though! The whole original concept of the game was exploration. So, I will try and just..explore! Hopefully I dont give up! Playing NES, you get more of a respect for those old school graphics, especially on things like LoZ. They have alot more character in person while youre playing than I realized.

Ugh! I hate trailers for doing that. They completely ruin the fun and surprise of their own product when they sell it like that. I also can't stand when people know about a game, movie, or book because they watched/read it before me. Its the same for getting hype for a new game. You get so excited about a new game coming out, read the reviews, imagine what its going to be like..and then it comes out and it isnt anything like it was in your head. The reality is less than the hype and all it does is lead to disappointment! Its all about consuming the game at your own pace, in your own way, without getting it spoiled by anyone or having unrealistic idealisms placed upon it. I can see looking up things if you get truly stuck, but its something I personally want to get away from as much as possible!

And, if you beat a game without hints or tips or spoilers, you get that extra boost of accomplishment for doing it. And thats a really great feeling.

A part two coming up.

Super Paper Mario is decent; but I would HIGHLY recommend the original and the Thousand Year Door. They are perfect games in my opinion, and are among my favorites. Although I would love replaying the series on my own; but its been even better playing side-by-side with a friend. Its neat to see how differently everyone plays.

And yeah I've played the Mario and Luigi games. I LOVED the first one. Thought the others were just ok. I think we are going to play through the original after we finish Super Paper Mario. Going to fire up a couple Gamecubes with GameBoy Players.
I've started Super Mario RPG, but never have played that one to completion. I'll probably fire it up again one day, I feel like its one of those games that I just need to beat!

Level 120 on Pokemon Shuffle was one of the hardest stages! I finally made it through it, but had to spend a high amount of coins on the power ups to do so.

I've sort've stopped playing Majora's Mask for the time being, but I DO plan on picking it back up sometime soon to finish it. I've really enjoyed it so far. This has been my first time playing through it so its all been brand new to me!

Yeah, I also forgot to mention that I surelly watched first three original seasons of Power Rangers) I think I watched some Turbo series, but also when I was a kid... So I am not sure about it completely... Wow, this Legacy collection looks crazy... Sure, a nice collectable)))
Yeah, sometimes AMWs are a pretty good reason to watch some shows) Actually, some time ago I myself made such things, though of course I am far from professionals... Just was a little hobby of mine) Mostly did them from anime, sometimes with movies) unfortunately, have not time for this now) Though still have ideas)
Yeah, when I have the possibility, I will surelly check The Legend of the Seven Stars)
Vergil is really cool) At least, to my opinion) Mostly I played third oart because of him, to be honest) And I liked him in new DMC) Don't know why, I just like him everyevere in every form)
I must remember and play Nocturne in some time too)
Favourite Lego game? I think it is Lord of the Rings) Partly because I love books and movies) And the game itself is awesome) I like how they they managed to realize really huge open world even with some NPC's in your way and little side quests) Now replaying old levels has even more meaning) I also enjoyed Marvel) The only Lego game in which I got all of the achievements so far is Pirates of the Carribean) You should try it too at some moment) Still, i didn't touch Indiana Jones and Harry Potter, at least on XBOX) Shuold really play them too... And then there are Hobbit, Movie))) Oh, I also fully completed Lego Lord of the Rings on Vita) Just need some time to do it on XBOX)

awh I think I got stuck there for a little bit too :O I think all I needed for it originally was extra moves hehe... since then it gets way easier once you start getting better Pokemon~

well the optimize thing is really useful tho! I don't think there's ever a time when you don't wanna hit optimize as for Mega Blastoise I got that with Ampharos, Sceptile, Zapdos, and Raikou; and leveled them up a lot; and then you just have to play super super fast and make sure you are getting combos constantly basically hehe~ I seem to have hit my limit at 15507 but still trying for better~

graphics don't usually bother me either except for I am very super picky about 3D graphics 2D graphics I am usually fine with anything but I don't really like the look of low-polygon or low-res texture 3D graphics, heh.

well as far as I know it coulda been done on 3DS >.> but at least its on PC and not too expensive so eh I can't complain

well not too excited for Yoshi's Woolly World since I don't have a Wii U that kinda limits my excitement for Wii U games, heh I maybe will get the amiibo tho it seems cute~

awh I see~ I didn't get to Mario until I got my GBA SP... and so my first ever Mario game was Super Mario Advance, and I still love that game to pieces! ^^ (I loved it and played it so much that I even discovered a glitch in it ouo )

yea I love Bowser's Inside Story so much I have played through it four times now tho that was mostly because I love the dialogue a lot and wanted to see it again ouo I haven't played the original Luigi's Mansion either but I know I really liked Dark Moon hehe... so yea

yay~ and yep the new laptop is very nice~

It would be interesting to see them remake every single gen on the current, but then they'd almost be obligated to do that with each new engine. I would imagine that's why they don't - if the tech ever gets to the point where it becomes unfeasible to do it, then they let down the fanbase. I guess we'll see, though - anything's possible at this point!

I'm still debating over whether or not I'll continue with the next gen, or stop at this one. I do want to see what they do for the next gen, though.

Hmmm... I think I didnt't watch Zeo) Though I remember correctly that some time ago thanks to TV I managed to catch some episodes from Mystic Force, Lightspeed Rescue, Mega Force and Samurai) I am not sure if I finished some of the shows fully, but managed to see most part of them for sure) By the way, I really liked Lightspeed Rescue's main theme) Still sometimes hear it stuck in my head)))

And what seasons did you see so far?)
Considering Mario and Luigi, I still own only Superstar Saga and Dream Team, which is already beaten))) I surelly will try to get sone other titles in these series)

Yeah, I like my all of my consoles))) Though there are moments when I really can play only some of them) Just because of the lack of time)

Yeah, I enjoy playing almost all kinds of RPGs)
Favourite titles of all time?)
Well, I can surelly say that Devil May Cry and Assassin's Creed are among them) Devil May Cry... Yeah, I am pretty crazy about Vergil) Though I like these games in common) And I still need to pay some attention to Assassin's Creed 3 and 4) But I really enjoyed first titles, especially Ezio's parts) Recently I became addicted to Atelier games)
I also liked Persona 4 and Soul Sacrifice) Still going to get Delta in some time) Well, I also enjoy Lego games) They just are so much fun, at least for me))) Well, I am playing Persona 3 right now, also find this title enjoyable, though my progress is pretty slow)

Yeah - it's definitely not the story or the dialogue that pulls me in to Pokemon. For me, it's just fun to make a team and collect them all.

Blue's definitely nostalgic for me - I still haven't replayed the old game because I don't want to lose my save file. I'd love to see another remake of it for the current gen, but that seems unlikely at the moment.
