It seems like the series is split into three categories: Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, and Bloodborne. Which would you say is the best to start out at?

I thought the idea of going back to an existing Zelda map - having it remixed - was very unique. The multilevel dungeon took great advantage of the 3DS’s 3D effects. The whole weapon rental thing, letting you choose the dungeon order, was cool as well. The game did a lot of stuff differently and I appreciated that.

Ah, Dark Souls and the like...
The truth is, I hear how challenging these games are and it scares me away from playing them!

But I definitely will give them a go at some point. Right, Baklagg?

A Link Between Worlds is so great. I need to replay it!

Gravity Rush was neat. I just have a hard time playing the sequel... there is just something about it that doesn’t jive with me.

The newest Switch revision this month has better hardware - although it doesn’t seem like it will be used beyond extra battery life, enhanced cooling, and security fixes.

Bloodstained was just kind of mediocre, wasn’t it. I wish it was less linear.

If I had to choose two of those to start playing right away, my choices would be Paper Mario and Bayonetta. Two totally different amazing games!

Ex-SNES fanatic born in the twilight of the 80s. Nowadays I am primarily playing on PC, PS4 and 3DS. Games that pique my interest are typically RPGs, (turn-based) strategies, weird'n'creative indie-games, platformers and action-adventures.

I play games for the sheer fun of it - whether it's an immersive setting to drift into or gameplay that gives you a rewarding challenge and good time.

Null status is also used for games that I have no intention on finishing any longer

is used also when games are practically completed content wise - but I don't always finish games on hardest difficulties, especially if difficulty increases artificially (taking more damage, having less HP) instead of making AI actually more intelligent.

games I know almost inside out. I've bent the rules and finished game purposely in a way that makes it harder to complete - e.g. skipping upgrades that player would usually encounter or not using certain weapons (MMX) or avoiding leveling in RPGs (Dark Souls SL1).
* Other ownership status is used for games I've played and finished, but never owned myself. :pirate:
