It's the end of the year and I failed to meet my expectations and my goals in finishing games. Partly is it because my PS3 shut down twice this year but it's also because I've been busy with ordinary life with studies and other crap coming in the way. In the next few days will my list be updated with my new goals and this year, I'll try my best to fulfill them.

Finished the main game of Pokemon Omega Ruby yesterday so here's a short review:

I grew up with RSE and loved it as a kid. Omega Ruby is a great remake to that generation and it even improves on it. More charactarization on your rival, Wally and more depth to Team Aqua/Magma. It also adds the new Delta Chapter after becoming the Champion. Although it's more or less a fetch quest, the ending is really satisfying. While I've never been into the Battle Frontier/Battle Resort, I will still continue to fill my Pokedex.

Finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village today and it was a great game. Normally I suck at puzzle games and I have to admit that I used a guide to figure out about half of the puzzles but then again, it did it's job and I enjoyed it and thought the story was pretty good.

I have some other games in the series and I will probably get around them at some Point but for now, it's time to play a remake of a game that traces back to my childhood that I really enjoyed. Getto Daze!

Enslaved finished which makes it now 4 out of the 11 games I intend to finish this year.

Enslaved was a short game but still had its moments. The story was good and the enviroments was nice to look at. The controls was a bit wonky though and at moments did it felt like a watered-down Uncharted clone. The bosses was fun to go against but the common enemies was actually quite boring with that everyone could be handle in pretty much the same way and except for some Shields and some stun shots did they felt pretty much similar.

All in all, it was an alright game. Nothing life-changing but if you're bored and simply want a game to finish then I could recommend this game.
