★★★★★ Something I have personally been looking for, for a long time. I fast paced, action packed online FPS that you can easily pick up and play. You can pick it up and just play 1 game, or play 20 games. It's no nonsense and puts the fun factor of the gamer first. Clinches a 5 star rating because it doesn't put a foot wrong, my favourite FPS since Modern Warfare 3.

Blog Thing #3 - 21/07/13

Hello again, I know it's been a while but I think I need to get another blog post in.

So yesterday I went to PAX Australia, the biggest gaming expo in Australia, and it was great. I went to the expo hall to see lots of stands, indie developers and all that stuff. I got to see the Xbox One, they kept it in a glass box like it was the crown jewels, it didn't look special to me. I played some Joust with a Playstation Move, I saw lots of 'booth babes' with their asses squeezed into tight pants, same goes for some of the cosplayers. A lot of it was PC focused, but still cool nonetheless. I went to the big tent, where they had console freeplay. I played a bit of Super Smash Bros. Brawl which was cool, some Little Big Planet which was nice and Saints Row The Third which got boring quickly. I also played some retro consoles, and i'm not talking Super Nintendo's and Playstations, i'm talking C64's, Amstrads, Amiga's and more. It was very interesting, but the game that stood out for me was Virtua Tennis for Dreamcast, stunning game.

All in all it was a fun day, I was surrounded by autistic neckbears, some normal looking people, cosplayers and the occasional gamerrrr grilllll. What did piss me off was the number of kids aged 12-15 thinking they were gaming expects, playing the retro consoles like they knew shit, pissed me off.

Okay final bit of news, I bought a Dreamcast!!!! Yes finally, I can't wait to play it, I bought ChuChu Rocket! which I love, so now I can play it, finally oh wait the Dreamcast is broken . Yeah so I bought a Dreamcast and it's broken, the lens driver is really loud, it starts to load the game but it gets to the Sega signature at the beginning then back to the home screen. I'm really sad because it cost me lots and now i'm still without a Dreamcast. If anyone knows what the problem could be or how to fix it, I would love you forever. No seriously, if you help me fix it I'll send you a game in the mail, a good one.

I think that's pretty much it for the last few weeks, I bought a few more games, Kingdom Hearts 1+2 both sealed, Rayman 2 for the N64 and Jet Set Radio is coming in the mail.

I'll try to post in a couple of weeks.

Blog Thing #2 - 29/06/13

So it's been a bit over 2 weeks since my last post, so time for an update I think!

Okay well firstly, i've been to a few more flea markets and continued my search in the charity/thrift shops & other places, but not much luck, this place is dry! I did pick up Ape Escape 2 for PS2 though, and Lion King for Game Boy. I also picked up a NES controller because it was in fantastic condition at a great price. In the mail I've received lots of goodies, mostly 6th gen, Xbox & PS2 games. I got Doom for PS1, and Urban Chaos: Riot Response last week. Earlier today I got a huge load of games. I got Ever Grace, Tokobot & Puyo Pop Fever all for PS2 and Hitman: Contracts & Hitman 2: Silent Assassin both for Xbox. So a bit more growth to my collection, but nothing to write home about.

I've been keeping busy as of late with another project of mine. I have started a Retro Gaming website, currently hosting on tumblr as it's in a beta stage. But please do visit it at [Link] and let me know what you think. Also i'm looking for people that would be willing to contribute with articles and what not, so get in touch, should be cool.

Lastly, about Xbox One retracting all their DRM policies is pretty funny, but it's not good enough for me, with the Kinect issues and such, I still feel it needs to fail to show the industry it can't treat the customers like shit, it's not cool.

That's pretty much it from me for another fortnight, unless anything major happens i'll post in a couple of weeks, so keep playing and enjoying your collections.
