Sounds like you have been super busy. So you fixing drywall in order to get your security deposit back? Been there. Man, you are making me feel guilty about taking some time off P2R with how busy you are, yet you are still publishing.

So what do you think of Dead Space? It is definitely top 20 for me this gen. I loved the atmosphere and the unique focus on dismembering, plus I thought the story was actually pretty good. You are making some excellent progress then. So what do you think of the music that plays in the Heaven dungeon? Pretty fantastic, isn't it?

Probably better not to get into that, particularly with FFVI (don't want to have to lecture you - haha). Totally understandable about starting a new franchise. I actually have no intention of going back to 1 and 2. I'm fine just jumping in with 3, but if Rockstar puts out a 4th, I will be all over it. NieR would be a great choice, plus it isn't all that long (25 hours). I actually beat it twice (you can start from the second half), and once you know where to go and what to do, I think I finished up that second playthrough in 3 hours.

I'm guessing you would like the 2nd then. I never did play the PS2 one, but I did always appreciate the art style.

It hasn't been quite as busy as in years past so far, so it has been good and I've had plenty of time for both. I probably should write something for the site, but I don't really have anything pressing I want to write about.

About time you recognize! haha. Man, I am jealous. If I had a Vita, i would most certainly be playing it all over again.

Been well, but busy. Played a lot of games too, though now that the GotY stuff is done I've mainly been playing older titles except for Max Payne 3 which excelled more at story telling and cinematic presentation than it did as a third person shooter. All in all though, I really loved the entire experience. And I beat Chrono Trigger for the first time! I can remove that one from the bucket list and I am impressed at how well it held up.

So how's life treating you?

You are on a roll. Guess that is what Christmas break will do for you.

I think the overall story line in KH is kind of nonsensical from what I've seen. It wasn't too bad after the first game, but since it seems they just keep adding more and more nonsense to a game that really doesn't need to go beyond Final Fantasy meets Disney. JMO of course. I hear you there. I won't ever play Chain of Memories, 3D, or who knows what other titles are out there. I would definitely pick up KH3 on consoles though.

As a fellow JRPG afficianado, I would recommend Magna Carta 2 if you haven't tried it. Review scores are pretty sub-par, but it seems the biggest complaint is a lack of originality which I will agree with. Still, a well told story with likeable characters and a fun and interesting combat system supersede originality IMO and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it.
