Okay, cool! I like the sound of that. I'll look into it when the sale hits then. =)

Oh goodness, that's a tough call! I love both of them for very different reasons. Shovel Knight is an amazingly well done platformer, and has just so much content for an indie game. It's got four campaigns now plus a battle mode with its own story, which is just nuts. This is if you get the Treasure Trove edition, of course, which I recommend. But it is certainly difficult at times, at least for my skill level, but never manages to be frustrating, since the controls are so tight that death always feels like your own fault and you know you can do better next time.

My Time at Portia on the other hand is really relaxing and great to unwind to. It's a beautiful game, and the focus is on crafting, so lots of gathering materials to make a thing to ultimately make another thing. But its got a lot of character; the townspeople are all interesting, the lore drops here and there are fun, and nothing really feels tedious to me, even collecting basic materials.

So really, it depends on what you're wanting out of a game right now. Shovel Knight is fantastic if you're looking for tight controls and a bit of a challenge, while My Time at Portia is great to relax to and simply enjoy taking your time to explore everything the game offers.

Ooh, how was Forager? I really like its aesthetics, but crafting games are a little hit and miss with me, so I haven't bought it yet. Would you recommend it?
