Why did you leave GAF? - I was planning on taking a long break anyway, as usual. Around that time, Dragona got demodded and treated rather badly by Evilore. In solidarity, I (and a couple other posters) left for keeps.

Why did you erase your Twitter account? - As I've gotten older, I've found less joy in the belligerent personality I had built with the Segata persona. Trying to be "him" was just adding a lot of unwelcome negativity to my life. I am still on Twitter, but not under that name.

Why did you leave The Bore? - The character of the board started changing, just as it had at GAF. Bore was always a cleaner alternative to OA, but a few new members were enough to tilt the works. That, combined with Gamergate kind of hurting my interest in gaming all around, led me to take an absence that I'm yet to end.

Why did you stop backlogging? - Got married, had a kid. Backloggery was always a way of organizing my free time. I don't have much of that anymore, certainly not enough to worry about micromanaging it.

Do you still play games? - Yes, yes I do. I enjoy them a lot more now, actually.

Do you still like sales data? - You betcha, though I don't watch it as closely anymore.

Will you ever be back? - As Segata, no. He's like bell-bottomed pants. We had some fun, but who I am now is so far from who I was then, I couldn't even be that guy again if I tried.

hey so another dumb yakuza question - do those sexy white yakuza 3 PS3's go for much over there, or are they hard to find? they're on ebay for like 1k even though no one's buying. i think i'm gonna keep offering the sellers a hundred bucks or hold out for one to die so i can jack the case, since i cant find a close enough skin, heh.

Well, then today Game Informer arrived and I forgot I need to play the new Tomb Raider this year. Still haven't played Arkham City yet, and I want to. Also, an article in the issue is pushing me closer to The Old Republic. Damn magazine was feeling my gaming dilemma

Skyrim may actually end up retiring me from gaming. I can't play anything else. I may only play this and Bioware games til the end of time. I don't know if I should be content or depressed.

i keep looking at my club nintendo points, and seeing that Kirby game there (i've honestly never played a kirby title somehow), but GAF says that one ain't worth the points, mostly...thoughts?
Prolly gonna hold out to see what they offer us in february, maybe NOA will remember Kid Icarus 3D so i can play that for 10 minutes and remember what a bitch it was.

Pretty sweet. No game stuff this year. I'm good with Skyrim until Mass Effect 3 comes out in March. I'm HIGHLY considering The Old Republic, but am worried about the $15/month fee and while I've heard it can be solo-friendly, I don't want ANYone affecting or intruding on my Bioware adventures

I remember playing that game when the nuke hits. It was surprisingly effective and really visceral when I played it (had a big TV, so that helped).

No plans as of now. Noriko wants to come back early next year, but I have to save my vacation time for a ton of stuff next year. It's wait and see at this point.

Just updated my graphics card to a 6950. I am officially READY for Skyrim. Can't get here soon enough!

I'm glad you told me. It's a JP one, so that's good for Noriko, and I'll just have to wait for Dimensions (not high on my radar anyway, what with Skyrim just around the corner)
