I used to play a lot of fps online when I was in high school, mostly Quake, and a beta WW2 shooter I was really good at. But I sort of lost interest and when I came back to it in uni, it felt much more toxic and I also didn't like the idea of playing the same thing forever. Other half is currently playing Destiny 2 as I type this, it's been the funniest part of us together since the games are so radically different. But he's really invested in watching me play Persona 5

As for the woman, I think she wasn't paying any attention because she wasn't slowing down and was honking when we were trying to cross. Her looked horrified and clapped her hands over her mouth. I blame a bit of an adrenaline high on this because I am NoT a ballsy person, but I banged on her window and screamed "what is wrong with you!?". And my walk is half an hour, and the whole time, my fitbit had my heart rate at 110

It's one of those games where it becomes almost an immediate obsession. There's a small number I jokingly admit to getting weird about: Fire Emblem 7, all the Danganronpa titles, Breath of the Wild, and now this.

It's the 25th, so this weekend is the fam jam celebration. Last weekend we went axe throwing, which was awesome, and once the melt happens, partner and I are going to a winery and apiary because I got free wine flight samples and I have had mead in so long either!

I'm not super great at Smash, but I do like setting up "jerk battles" with friends. It's a joking tradition, where I get to pick people's characters, CPUs, and the difficulty level. So after axe throwing, it was partner and 2 friends that actually know how to play Smash and the rest was level 6 CPU Pichus, and one level 9 Wii Fit Trainer. And everyone as the Piranha Plant, which was hilarious.

I also never thought to ask, is your significant other a gamer as well?

I have been waiting to get one for a long time. Now that I do and a Pro at long last, I can finally get into some games I have been holding off for to experience in the highest quality possible. Those are God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spiderman.

If you have any other recommendations for 4K games that would be cool! Destiny 2 really blew me away, I've been playing since launch with my old TV and just seeing the jump, the frame rate alone was so surprising.

Oh my god we lost to the Jets. But this is one of those losses that I don't mind because I love the Jets. And my dad had a weird moment. He was a pilot, and bought a Jets shirt because he loves the logo. A man in a Home Depot got all excited and kept following my dad around, asking him all about the Jets.

I also wore my Bruins shirt to my last yoga class and was complimented for my "bravery" in wearing that here. Always forget that

I am honestly falling hard. Everything about the game I adore but it's the little touches I'm obsessed with. The music that happens when you're just moving around the school is repetitive but never annoying, and the design choices for the level up screens are just so much fun.

I know they're super intense games, but I'm going to be playing blind. Which is not ideal for someone who loooooves that But I might check out how you go about spending your free time. I want to at least have an idea of what I'm doing.

I'm really trying hard to be good lol and with having both PS4s in the same spot, it's super easy for me to piggyback on my other half's account and I've been slowly making a list of things I want. Our winter finally got sort of normal? A dumping of snow and just windchills of -23. We got a snowstorm warning today from environment Canada and when my own office says people can leave early, I left maybe 20 minutes early? Fell once, and took almost twice as long.

I must admit, this is my first Persona game and so far I am in absolute love with it, but I have no idea how to play and I have a million questions but don't want to read spoilers online.

I'm actually trying the same! I'm down to 15 and think its a reasonable goal. Plus I can make a good dent in my handheld Backloggery because my other half is practising for a Dragonball Fighter Z tournament, so he sort of needs to monopolize the tv for awhile lol

Finally I got coffee that I won in the bet. I was not expecting to lost to Philly though, I was honestly sort of expecting that to be an easy win. So all in all we played the Leafs 4 times, and won 3 of those. I really love the rivalry its setting up!

That's so nice! I've never been to a tailgate sort of thing, I've heard they are super wild when it's American football, but that sort of makes sense. If its super cold, no one really wants to stand around outside freezing.

Finally it looks like Toronto has a proper winter! It was -11 when I went to work yesterday and we actually have snow!

I will say, it was so much fun having Quiet around, and the soundtrack was amazing! Despite my own feelings, I do really think you should play it. Both to get it out of your Backloggery, and because I'm dying to talk to another person that's played it. I was also a tiny bit mad that I was so mad after beating the game, I forgot to update my page until 2019...

Usually I end up just watching the highlights since I don't have cable, so usually if I'm visiting my parents, I will try to make sure its a weekend when I know my Bruins are playing. Tomorrow is a good one, Leafs and Bruins and I finally made a bet on it with someone at work.

That game ended up becoming sort of a weird obsession, constantly redoing levels and knowing exactly how many steps to use.

I beat MGS5 a couple minute before midnight, and seethed until maybe 1am and then updated Backloggery and went to bed.

What ruined the game for me was the "end". It was a beautiful ending, tragic, but I was puzzled (and crying) because there were still some pretty important plot points that weren't resolved. But it felt like such an ending.

And then you go back to base. And then you open the mission log and realise that the last 3 are optional ones that just are ones you've already done and they're just harder now. So they took what could and should ave been a beautifully tragic end and then just said "oops no, here's some more shit to do" and there's no real resolution.

That, not having David Hayter as Snake, knowing this was the last Metal Gear game with Kojima and then the next thing Konami put out with that name was the shitty zombie survival game... it's just very disappointing.

I'm still upset by it lol
