★★★★★ While it might come across simpler for 2019 standards Advance Wars still remains a very important title in getting players accquainted with the turn-based strategy genre. For those who played it then, it's never aged. For everyone else that are into today's strategy titles, it's worth checking out, but you might want to look at the sequels instead for increasing layers of depth. For me Advance Wars will always hold some of the best of memories. Always a joy to go back and get some more A ranks.
