I like retro, Nintendo, and weird/unique games. More about cataloging my experiences and progression with games here than necessarily completing a backlog (though I do have one of course). Feel free to commentβif you're cool that is.

Completing games (100%ing) is usually not a fun way to play games as it turns them into work, so I try to usually focus on beating and experiencing them.

I dislike achievements, DLC/season passes, half-baked multiplayer modes, endless sequels, "true" endings, most post-gen six consoles, time-wasting (grind, trial-and-error, etc.), early-access, Steam & DRM, most AAA games now, the term "gamer," eSports, generic games, most remasters/remakes, & games that require external wikis/walkthroughs.
Unfinished: Played somewhat, or am about to start playing. Could be anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours. I might have paused playing for the moment.
Beaten: Completed to the end of the main game/quest/campaign, usually to see a credits screen. Or achieved the main objective of what I'd consider my main objective/satisfaction of playing a game to be. I feel I have a reasonable understanding of the game.
Completed: Experienced everything, or near-most everything, the game has to offer. Every optional boss defeated, every location discovered, every story bit viewed, etc. I feel I know almost everything about the game save for minor details.
Null: Games I've either dropped because I dislike them (or some aspect of them) or couldn't beat/finish them. Rarely I might return to it.
Unplayed: Haven't played and I either own it or is on my wishlist. I don't buy games too frequently, especially new ones. A lot of ROMs and stuff, too. My wishlist is mostly games I wish or plan to play/obtain in the future. The ones with websites are ones I'm waiting to release.
My stupid mini-reviews tend to sound harsher than they should be to fit within 500 characters. I try not to be so opinionated. I also consolidate a lot of the consoles, not specifying Steam, DSiWare, PSVR, etc. because I find that too finicky. I've mostly been only adding games I've played since 2010+, so a lot of games I played as a child aren't listed.
If you've read this, thanks. I really like this website and the users.

I've not really seen a style like the one in the avatar specifically, that's really neat.
