My big problem is that the story telling, at least in my opinion, was abysmal. I felt that there was a lot of left unanswered, parts of it were never explained, and I never got hooked; I was left with a feeling of "Why do I care?" The combat was a lot of fun - I LOVED the crossbow and the gore when I shot an enemy in the face with a shotgun - but with a horror game, just gameplay isn't enough; you've got got get the atmosphere right, and I just don't think The Evil Within got it right.

What do you think of The Evil Within? I just finished Chapter 13, and honestly, I'm extremely unimpressed.

I thought about getting it for my PS4. All I've got for it right now is Killzone, Thief (that game sucked), Tomb Raider, and Wolfenstein. The Wii U is a fantastic console, and the gamepad really adds some great features. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, for example, supports up to five players in a local multiplayer game with the gamepad, and NintendoLand is hands down the best party game I've ever played. I wish developers would see the potential for AMAZING local co-op in first person shooters. The way Call of Duty uses the Wii U is giving one person the gamepad and the other person the TV so that you don't actually have to deal with splitting the screen. It's works AMAZINGLY well.
