I still get and play them though~ Tis fun to wander around in them. 
I pretty much feel the same as you did about FFXVI. Was disappointed that Jill didn't get to do more, and that she was excluded from the whole Origin sequence. Also that Benedikta's potential was squandered since she was out so early on. But god, there was so much that I enjoyed. I cannot tell you how much loved the whole Twinside and Bahamut sequence. Adored Joshua and Dion, though honestly — I adored all the protagonists, both major and minor. They were all so wonderful and I miss them already.
