Started playing GoW3. Can't believe how beautiful it is. I'm also kinda sad that it's the last game I'll be able to play in the series (until a new one is released). Oh well, next on the list is MGS!

That happens in all continuing video games though. You always start the game again stripped of all your powers and have to earn them again with no explanation. He definitely feels more like a demigod than anything else. He has the power to overcome huge demons and to bring down huge monsters, with god-like powers . . . but he can't just punch it once to smite it. But then again, we don't know the extent of the other Olympian gods' powers other than being able to grant wishes of sorts and to use magic. In that case, Kratos doesn't have or hasn't shown any of those powers as Ares did many times before.
