And no actually, only because schools tend to not hire pursuing teachers that have their Masters because they would have to pay them more, in most cases around an additional $5000 a year. Even if the principal likes you and would hire you, he or she would have to present your case to the Board of Education of that district to see if your salary would work with the budget and it's up to them whether or not they'd hire you.
I'm better off waiting, get that full time job, and then wait until the school I'm teaching at offers to pay me through my Masters.
