I appreciate the support, but I know I can be better. I'm hoping my writing improves as I write more. There are times that I don't know if I'm explaining too much or too little. It rarely feels balanced.

If you end up liking Crystalis, then I suggest you check out Willow. It's older, and more like Zelda, but has a lot in common with Crystalis.

Was it the action combat that turned you off to Zelda II, or the mostly empty overworld? I enjoyed it, but I mostly knew where I was going since I had played it many years ago. I can definitely see it getting tedious, especially the over-world and some of the more maze-like palaces.

I hope you're liking Shining in the Darkness a bit better. I think I only played up until I got through a locked door, and then moved on to another game. I used to jump around between games a lot more than I do now. Mostly because this was on the GameTap service, but also I'd get bored once I pretty much knew I could finish the game if only I put in another 10 - 20 hours.

It looks like you didn't like Zelda II very much. What about it didn't you like? Also, what happened to your progress on Great Greed?

Oh yeah, me too. I'm pretty sure it was my first VHS and the first film I ever watched.

I wish I had more friends into gaming. I don't think I've ever inherited any gaming items from anyone. Sounds like a good way to start a collection. It looks like you're still entering yours on here. How many games do you have at the moment?
